Vancouver finally announces Leadership group

 

With former Captain Nico Pearce @Spartan being reacquired by the team during this past off-season the talk around the city has been about reappoint Nico Pearce @Spartan or keeping the C on the chest of Captain of two season; Pierre Emile Bouchard @Gaikoku-hito.

 

 

“We know the team did discuss this with Pierre Emile Bouchard @Gaikoku-hito also discussing the idea with AGM @Gaikoku-hito” added one insider. “As far as we are aware before the AGM was able to put the idea to GM @Frank ear though. The GM posted in the locker room a vote asking if they simply would like new Captains this season?” continued the insider.

 

 

“The vote was very clear that the team was very happy with the current Captains and they were happy to continue with them heading into the season as their captains.” Smiled the insider as if knowing a joke;” Not to mention Congratulation as this was the first time @Frank hadn`t traded away his Captain!!” laughed the insider; actually Pierre Emile Bouchard @Gaikoku-hito has been captain for two season now taking over in S87 from traded Nico Pearce @Spartan .

 

Even rumors that Nico Pearce @Spartan halfhearted stated, “Last time I got Captain, I got traded. So I`ll pass this time” continued the insider.

 

 

So, who are the teams Captains this season as in unusual fashion the team has been quiet heading into the season and haven`t announce their leadership group. Even heard someone around the office state, “that everyone know who the captains are so we can just imagine that they made an announcement. “

 

 

So It might have surprised some when earlier today after the Home opener against the Toronto Legion the team finally announced this season Leadership group:

Today we would like to announce the Vancouver Wolves Leadership Group for S89.

We are very aware of the rumors around our Leadership group after we reacquired Nico Pearce @Spartan from Prague Phantoms during the off-season

and we are proud to say that we have decided that Pierre Emile Bouchard @Gaikoku-hito will continue to wear the C this season as Captain.

 

 

We would also like to announce that Dogwood Maple @dogwoodmaple will also continue

to serve as Alternate Captain for another season.

 

 

But after a very classy act by Henry Eagle @Greg_Di approached the locker room yesterday

stating that he would be willing to hand his letter to Nico Pearce, Nico deserves to wear a letter in his final season.

 

 

So, after much deliberation the Vancouver Wolves would like to welcome Nico Pearce @Spartan back to the Leadership group

and making him an Assistant Captain in his final season in the VHL

 

Vancouver Wolves are extremely pleased to also announce Henry Eagles @Greg_Di as Honorary Assistant.

 

 

Congratulations to the Leadership group and Let`s bring home the Continental Cup!!
