Scurvy 1,495
For this weeks Around the League in 500 words I will chat about the VHLM race since my new players if now a few games in, a Tough Guy tribute, and some other random shit. VHLM Race to Playoffs: So, I am into my first two weeks with the Miami Marauders and Logan Ninefingers is getting his legs underneath him. Still low TPE I am ready to max out another week to get him firmly entrenched in the 120s in second week. Hopefully that helps the club come playoff time. The Marauders are in a playoff spot but have some extremely tough clubs battling for contention. No team looks tougher though than the San Diego Marlins. At 53-10-2 they are smashing through the league, followed by the Saskatoon Wild, and Mississauga Hounds. All three of these clubs are stacked for battle. The Marlins are led by a trio of studs in Tyrece the beast @beanhead420420 44-54-98pts, Eric White Jr @Mysterious_Fish48-44-92, and Defensemen Leif Reingaard @Zetterberg 9-58-67 with a very notable addition of scoring depth. In net they have Olober Syko @Spartan who is 53-10-2 with 9 shutouts. Tough to beat. Saskatoon is a very balanced club as well led by Jorji Costova @Hybrid1486 35-37-72pts, Defenseman Henry Ford @JCN18-38-56, and D-Callum Gary Yannick Janser @Daniel JanserDaniel 11-34-45pts. In net Joseph Reed is crushing dream with 6 shutouts and a 2.08 GAA. Mississauga Hounds are another offensively driven club led by no other than Grimgo Ironhide @FrostBeard 46-65-111, Med @med 37-45-82, and D-Joseph Dubois @Dubois 10-61-71. In net they have Red Panda @Lemorse7 rocking it with 47 wins and 7 shoutouts. Should be an exciting playoffs. TOUGH GUY TRIBUTE I do love paying tribute to some of the tough guys floating around the league so as we come to a close of this season I would like to shine a light on a few. To start it off one can look no further than Alfred Champagne from Davos: Alfred Champagne @Anthique(DAV)- 64 games – 218 PIM and 10 fighting majors (3 wins) Holy shit Alfred has come out swinging this season! Known early in his career as a steady scoring forward with some grit he has taken it to another level that last few seasons brawling his way to a Continental Cup last year and is still duking it was competitive Davos team. Congrats pal John Jameson (PRG) @Frank- 65- 213 PIM and 6 fighting majors Ok a 50 goal scorer last year who hits, fights, and wins. This is the Brendan Shanahan player of the VHL. In his 6th year in Prague JJ isa lighting it up again and knocking fools out along the way. Jake Thunder @Thunder – 64 games 189 PIM (no fights- 92 diving minors and 1 major for embellishing) Yep, he’s a bitch. LOL. Nah just kidding pal. Not listed in fighting majors (less than 5) but the bruising (albeit aging) dman from Davos has led with his body and fists most his career. Very tough to play against it’s a no wonder he’s always in the running for trophies……especially Lady Byng Jason @Jason kranzJason- 65 games 154 PIM and 10 fighting majors. What a stud here and the perfect example of a tough guy and scorer. 50 goals and 10 fights with not a bunch of minors to hurt the club. True stud Phis Strasmore @PhilPhil- 64 games 175 PIM and 9 fighting majors. So Phil usually makes it into any tough guy tribute I do since he is always bruising it up for Calgary. He hits, scores a bit, and brawls. What’s not to love in a defenseman. Honorable mentions: Rex Wolffe Gregor 7 fights, Vasile Lamb @dlamb 7 fights, and Mo Probert @Yahtzee 6 fights (4 wins). Girts, FrostBeard, Smarch and 6 others 6 1 2 Link to comment https://vhlforum.com/topic/140790-around-the-league/ Share on other sites

Anthique 222
LEEETTTT'SSSSS GOOOOO! A bit too much penalties to my liking, but well it will do since my offensive stats are following my penalty minutes lol@Spartan partan : Not because that I only won 3 of them that I lost the 7 others Draw exist too! @Alex : Violence is not what I would choose 100% of the time, but I kinda like the progression of my player.
