When I hear All-Stars I think of a few players and there is only one way to do this. For the VHL you have a few teams, Rookies, European Conference, North American Conference and Former Marlins. For the VHLE you have three teams, Cologne Express, Former Marlins, Rest of the League. For the VHLM you Have San Diego Reapers (Philly and San Diego) and then Rest of the League. Alright jokes aside an All-Star game would be a lot of fun to see with a few ways to do it in each league.

 

The VHL…M is the lowest level meaning we should definitely start with that league first. A few ways that this could be done is the basic West vs East, another possibility is two captains. Not many options for the VHLM in my opinion. Starting with the West vs East you would look at it and say oh West is just too good so it would be unfair but that is completely wrong. Yes looking at the point leaders 6 of the top 10 in points are from the west but 6 of the top 10 goal scorers are from the east, half of the top 10 in assist are from the east, half of the top 10 in defencemen are from the east. So overall it is pretty even just might not look that way in team standings. With two captains this works out well. Yermolai Nabokov @fonziGG of the Reapers can be one captain and Forum Content @frescoelmo of the Wild can be the other captain. They do a roster draft and make their own teams to which it would be as fair as possible. Both ideas involve 2 teams so instead of a 1 game standoff we can have a 3 game series.

 

The VHL…E is by far the worst league with only 6 teams. Now yes I might not be joking about the Cologne Express vs Rest of VHLE as Cologne has 18 more points than Bratislava who is 2nd and 2nd to last is a 15 point difference. The other idea is again the two captains and have a roster draft. Baby Moo Moo @Elvis of Cologne would be one team captain and BjorkaBjorn BjornaBjorkson @JardyB10 of the Gladiators would be the other captain. The game schedule would work the same way with a 3 game series between the two teams.

 

Alright the VHL there are a few ways to do it. We can do European Conference vs North American conference and run the same format as the other 2 with a 3 game series. We can do 4 team captains. Merome Dilson @MexicanCow123 of the Wranglers for the “Bunclewirth Division”, Yaroslav Trunov @qripll of the Phoenix for the “Low Division”, Leonard Triller @Triller of the United for the “Shaw Division” and AK92 Wit da Hoodie @hedgehog337 of the Reign for the “Gow Division”. For the Shaw and Gow division they would pick players from a pool of European Conference players and for the Bunclewirth and Low Divisions they would pick from a pool of NA Conference players. With that it would be a 3 game round robin where each team plays all other teams and then a semis and Finals matchups. There are more ways but I am going to stick to 2 options.

 

Now I am not going to go into who would be an All-Star but some awards that gould happen is. All-Star MVP, Most Points in All-Star games, Best Goalie in All-Star Games. None of these would give TPE though.
