This is the 2nd time he has done this in 3 season, the first time he did it he was traded within 24 hours of the press conference. This time around is a lot different, he will be going into his fifth season as a VHL player. Brovalenko has shown he has a talent in his game, he is well over point per game in his career. He is thriving on the Bears top line, last season on the bears Brovalenko had an 83 point campaign netting 43 goals, that finished him just out of the top 10 in goals last season. He has been counted on to be that elite center that Seattle traded for from Cologne at the beginning of last season. Brovalenko has goten around the VHL, he started off his career in Quebec on the east of Canada and then was shipped me off to the Cologne Express. Brovalenko did not get along with the GM so was shipped me off again to the Seattle Bears where he reamains today. He has come along way from his rookie season in Quebec, he is more mature, more of a complete player, he has experience and is ready to compete night in and night out. No question he is a good player, but is he a great player, that still needs to be answered says many. So as the season goes on and the Bears push for a playoffs spot, watch out for Sergei Brovalenko.
