This season in the VHLM feels like a new record of lowest scoring from the entire league. One day of sims left and there is only one team with a 200+ GF, and no teams have cracked 200+ GA. The league just went through a massive transition changing the TPE cap to 400 TPE and my guess is that goalies are just the boss dogs this season. As the seasons roll on the VHLM will see much more balance between players and goaltenders I’m sure of it. This first season is just a sort of messy one to start, the league is still very competitive though!

 

Thinking of this season being one for the record books, I was wondering if anyone here has records of their own? Small or large records, what do y’all got? The only record I know I hold is most short-handed VHLM playoff goals in a single season, with 3… I will hold this close to my heart and be crushed the day someone gets 4.

• 48 seasons straight as a VHL GM, 53 straight If you count my VHLM tenure prior. 
 

• Most of most things for all-time GM stats.

• 1st GM to crack 200 playoff wins.

 

• Most points as a rookie VHL player.

 

Those are the quick ones that come to mind.

I do know that I hold the most shots in a career and highest goal rate for an full, non-skipping VHL career in the hybrid era with Wolanin

 

I image I'm not the first GM to win the first Championship for 2 different franchises, but I imagine I'm the first in a long time?

Idk if it’s a record, but I got a game misconduct 25 seconds into a game against Moscow this season— the infraction was “butt ending”.  Greatest moment of my player’s career so far

It's definitely not a record but with Letang we lost game 7 of conference finals because I speared a guy and got ejected, then we lost on the PP after that
