San Diego did manage to win the conference title and walk into the playoffs as the second overall seed.... only to lose to the 7th place Saskatoon in 7 games. I already got my founder's cup but getting several would have been nice and losing as the higher seed always hurts extra. Shitty way to end what was a shitty season for the Cardinal; I did manage to get 5 points in 7 playoff games which is pretty solid though. I believe I had a point in each game that we didn't get shutout so that's something. I'll admit without simming or playing n the VHL this season I haven't paid a ton of attention but I just checked their standings and noticed Seattle managed to topple Vancouver and Riga managed to beat Malmo; both coming out of the wildcard; Simon gonna Simon amirite? I don't actually know who I want to see win in the VHL this season but it's interesting. The Victory Cup curse continues. Of note, wtf @VHL GM's; why no scouting? Only one of you has written me so far.
