boubabi 4,725 Posted February 19, 2015 Share Posted February 19, 2015 The Leucan Shaved Head Challenge is a major fundraiser of Leucan that engages the community in a spirit of solidarity to provide services to cancer-stricken children and their families as well as providing financial support to the clinical research. Participants in the Leucan Shaved Head Challenge must put a price on their own head to raise donations from people around them: family, friends, neighbors, colleagues, etc. It is also a gesture of support for children whose body image is altered when chemotherapy provokes hair loss. I'll be participating this year. I haven't cut my hair for 2 years now. I'm not looking to reach the billion dollar donation mark, but I'll be very grateful if you donate some money. No matter how much money you'll be giving, it will help the cause. No matter how much money you give, I'll give you a sig as a reward !
