diamond_ace 3,112 Posted May 27, 2015 Share Posted May 27, 2015 Kerkko Hyvarinen was surprised by comments in a recent article ranking each member of the S44 draft class. The comments stated that Hyvarinen did not attend practices, saying, "If anyone sees Kerkko Hyvarinen tell him to not hype himself up before practices he doesn't attend." The thing with that is, Hyvarinen has attended practices, he just hasn't submitted the paperwork to the league to allow said practices to be applied to his player record (as in, I've written articles and just haven't updated, a common thing with me) and so it appears as though he has not attended. When the next large chunk of paperwork is sent in, which will be happening shortly, Hyvarinen will take a big jump up the rankings (at least in terms of TPE - 2nd place seems to be fairly a lock as Reencarnacion's timing as a deadline recreate gives him a massive lead). Fellow draftee Simon Valmount appears to be making a push to reach Hyvarinen for 2nd, but with the unsubmitted paperwork due to boost Hyvarinen by a good margin, it's unlikely Valmount reaches him. Valmount and Marcel Faux look to round out the likely lottery selections in the upcoming draft.
