Ranking Fifth Overall Picks By TPE

Things of Note:

 

- I think I got these all right. Only weird one was Enven Datsyenko, who was referred to in the draft thread as Evgeni Datsyenko.

- Sherifflobo has a good reputation at fifth overall, having players that ranked 2nd and 4th on this list.

- Olivier Scarlett is the oldest player to lead his selection in TPE to this point, being the only player to lead his selection drafted on the original VHL site.

- Biggu Kyanon is the best placed active player to make a serious run at the top contenders, however Francis York Morgan will also enter the top ten if he continues his activity. Miller may end up in the top 5. 

- Average TPE for fifth selected is 465 TPE, only eight less than fourth selected.

 

Will be doing sixth TPE, but will be doing a Brucie Bonus very shortly ranking all players selected between 1-5

That's interesting to me, how only one 5th overall pick has topped 750 TPE since S28, and only Miller and Kyanon are on pace to get there currently (unless Morgan/Coutzen keep updating hard even into regression). Usually a premium is placed on that spot as a top five pick and all, but recently, superstars seem hard to come by.

I'll hit it without any issue. My big pre-season update wasn't in for this so I'm actually at 740 already which is plenty close to get to 750 in over a season.
