Helsinki Titans: Cap Violation

During S51, the Helsinki Titans violated league cap regulations by failing to get themselves over the cap floor for a period of time.

 

After a discussion in the BOG focusing on how much of an impact this could have actually had, we determined an appropriate punishment would be the forfeiting of one S52 2nd round pick. The league (aka Jardy and I) must also take some responsibility for allowing trades to happen which put Helsinki under the cap floor - going forward we will be more diligent with this and transactions that put one or both teams over or under the salary cap will not be processed until both teams are compliant. 

 

Helsinki has also forfeited their S52 HSK 2nd for their GM change, as posted earlier.
