Unassisted has moved teams this off-season packing his bags from Calgary, Alberta to New York, New York to play for the Americans. That has not slowed him down at all as he has scored 34 goals and assisted on 39 goals for 74 points in just 38 games. Safe to say he made a great move to New York stats wise.

Niels Skovgaard is an interesting case this season considering he hasn't been practicing for awhile but is dominating the league this season. He has scored 29 goals and assisted on 44 goals for 73 points. He is tied with Unassisted for the league lead in points.

Tom Lincoln has been one of those underrated scoring players for the past few seasons but has really clicked with Unassisted as his center this year. Tom has scored 28 goals and assisted on 43 goals for 71 points. He is one of just 4 players to break the 70 point plateau so far this season.

John Sleeman has announced that this will be his final season in the VHL despite just reaching his 6th season out of the 8 you are allowed to play. Maybe he would want to rethink his plan to retire since he has scored 35 goals and assisted on 35 goals for 70 points. He makes the 4th and final player to reach 70 so far this season.

Pietro Maximoff has finally broken out of his shell this season and is leading the Riga Reign in points. He has scored 32 goals while assisting on 33 goals for 65 points. In season 50 alone he scored 64 points so he broke that with just under half a season left to play. Talk about a break out year.

Shawn Muller just keeps chugging along, after a career high 104 points last season, Shawn Muller looks to reach that number again in his 7th season. Muller has scored 27 goals and assisted on 34 for 61 points. Just like he elevated SWC3 play last season, he looks to be doing the same with Maximoff this year.

Travis Gowecny is a player who is doing great despite the departure of Unassisted from Calgary. He has been doing great in the number 1 line role and currently leads the team with 23 goals and 36 assists for 59 points. The Calgary offense has not skipped a beat in the absence of Unassisted.

Joel Jaarvi just looks good in a Seattle uni. I don't know what it is but it just feels right and obviously you can see it as he is leading the team in scoring with 24 goals and 34 assists for 58 points. Just imagine what numbers he would be putting up though a Cologne who started out like a house on fire and some players are still putting up good numbers.

Max Molholt makes the team for the last time in Season 52. I think we the VHL players and the fans alike want to see one of the best players in VHL history one more time in a a all-star game. So far this year he has scored 30 goals and assisted on 27 for 57 points. Farewell, Max Molholt.

Tyson Kohler makes the team while getting used to a new linemate in Gowecny and a grizzled vet in Koponen. He has scored 24 goals and assisted on 33 for 57 points. Which is off considering Kohler has been more of a sniper in his career.

Aleksi Koponen should make the team, much like Max Molholt because he is playing in his final season and he has been one of the best player of this generation. So far this season, Koponen has scored 28 goals and assisted on 28 goals for 56 points.

Zach Parechkin is the final player to make the team in my opinion. Last season he showed he can still be a dominate force, but this season it looks like he is resting up before a big push in his last and final season. He has scored 25 goals and assisted on 31 goals for 56 points.

Jeff Hamilton has been the best defenseman of the year so far. He has scored 14 goals and assisted on 39 goals for 53 points. He chose to play in Toronto this year so he could play with his scrub brother Phil Hamilton. We will see if that decision pays off as Toronto are in a great race for the playoffs.

Black Velvet is going to go down as one of the best defenseman of a generation when all is said and done. So far this season he has scored 16 goals and assisted on 35 goals for 51 points. The only future competition Velvet is going to have is an old Jeff Hamilton in his 8th season for best defenseman, after that the Trophy shall be his for 2 more season after next minimum.

Phil Hamilton is going to be one of the best defenseman of any era really. He will be playing in his final all-star game with the likes of Molholt and Koponen who are also calling it quits after this season. Phil has scored 15 goals and assisted on 36 for 51 points this year and is the 3rd and last defenseman to score over 50 points this season.

Biggu Kyanon went from a strong number 2 defenseman to top dog in Seattle. He is doing a great job as the number 1 with 14 goals and 25 assists for 39 points. He is still in a tier 2 because he doesn't have 40 points and the other 3 have 50+.

Titan Kronos is another defenseman who was thrust into the number 1 spot after Jeff Hamilton left to Toronto. He has responded well with 13 goals and 24 assists for 37 points. He is just entering his prime so we should see him leading the team in scoring for the next few seasons.

Shayne Gow started the season in Quebec City with the Meute before he was traded to the Calgary Wranglers to help shore up their defensive depth. It was a move seen as controversial but I don't think it was. His totals added up are 8 goals and 28 assists for 37 points on the year.

Fabio Jokinen was mentored by Gow for the first few weeks of the season before management decided Jokinen can't learn anymore from the veteran Gow and traded him to Calgary. Jokinen has been great this season as a rookie and has scored 15 goals and assisting on 18 goals for 33 points.

Felipe Rodriguez barely makes his way onto the team again for the 2nd year in a row. It was down to him and Tobias Klingberg but Rodriguez is a guy who practices more often and we want to reward those who do. He has scored 9 goals and assisted on 23 goals for 32 points. Klingberg has 33 points so the margin isn't really that big anyway.

Ariel Weinstein joins a long list of players who are calling it quits after this season. It is only right that he is in on the festivities. He has a record of 29-6-3 with a .927 save percentage and a 1.38 G.A.A. He also has 9 shutouts and 2 assists to go along with these great stats.

Jakub Holik has taken the step into super stardom with a record of 31-6-1 with a .925 save percentage with a 1.62 G.A.A. He too matches Weinsteins 9 shutouts and 2 assists. He should take the mantel as top goaltender for a few seasons after some big names are calling it quits this season.

Greg Clegane is a player who is also retiring and this will be his swan song of the ASG. He has a record of 24-9-5 with a .927 save percentage and a 1.74 G.A.A. He too has 9 shutouts but has managed 4 assists on the season. It will be a great battle of the goalies this season.

Sandro Clegane like his brother and others are retiring at the end of this season. Sandro got his cup in Season 51 so I'm sure he could care less about this season to be honest. That isn't to say he is having a bad one as he has a record of 22-9-1 with a .925 save percentage and a 1.85 G.A.A. After 22 shutouts last season, he only has 6 this season.

Dmitri Dadonov is just a goalie who knows how to win and make allstar teams. I'm pretty sure he hasn't missed a game yet. So far this season he has a record of 21-13-4 with a save percentage of .930 which leads the league and a 2.46 G.A.A. He has 5 shutouts and 3 assists to go along with those stats.

Ilya Kopralkov is the last goalie to make it on the list. It was a tough call between him, Apollo Skye and Edwin Threencarnacion. In the end, I went with the man who as a record of 21-8-0. Hard to argue with that kind of record but his save percentage of .905 could use some work. He also has a tidy 1.72 G.A.A and 6 shutouts.
