That's 8 seasons since being drafted, which means auto-retired. In the VHL, careers only last for 8 seasons after your VHL draft. I was just saying that's it's after S53, because it's after S53 right now. I didn't mean that S53 is the 8th season or whatever. But yeah, anyways.
