TheLastOlympian07 2,391 Posted September 28, 2017 Share Posted September 28, 2017 Win or lose it needs to be sad the playoff that Diego Jokinen is having is one that should garner him some talks for the Daisuke Kanou Trophy as playoff MVP. Of the remaining teams left, he is tied with teammate Peter Quill for the lead in points with 14 points in 15 games. The two others in the lead right now are Felix Savard and Marc-Andre Leblanc, however they played a much easier opponent in their quarter-final match up than the Dynamo who had to go through the two time defending champions. On top of 14 points, Jokinen has 0 PIM and 1 hit with 24 shots blocked in 30 minutes of icetime per game. He is going out there and playing great offensive and defensive hockey while not putting his own team in harms way! I think he should be on the ballot and he should be a favourite to win the award.
