After a few things get hashed out at headquarters, the ball will get rolling on all the exciting things around the league, and one of the most exciting parts for Jones Agencies and Defenseman Niko Bogdanovic is Free Agency. While Riga certainly hopes to retain the services of Niko, he made it official today that he intends on seeing what the league has to offer. “I am officially going to become a free agent and test the market.” Niko said “While Riga is certainly number one in my book, I just want to see what is out there. I am just coming into the prime of my career, and I am curious. I have been very happy in Riga, they took the chance on me in the draft, I have won a Cup with them, but I might only be a free agent once. I just want to see is all. I am curious, I am very curious, that’s all.” It remains to be seen if there will be a market for the young defenseman, but if there is, You can certainly imagine a bidding war may be coming.
