The New York Americans

Rolling into the league as one of the top contenders for the Continental Cup, the Americans have not stopped their push for pure dominance in the league. With a first line consistent of leading scorer Bo Boeser, Aksel McKnight, and Chase Keller, as well as the top pairing of Casey Jones and Colton Rayne. Every player on the Americans are over a PPG after the starting 20, an absolutely unbelievable feat that is only further exemplified by their 19 wins. With a league lead in PP% at 25.64%, and a +25 goal differential - there is no doubt this team is capable of winning it all.

Bo Boeser is playing out of his mind for being part of his last rally - leading scoring with a 2.0 PPG with 52 games remaining. Despite being a part of Toronto for 5 seasons, his current season with the NYA appears to be statistically on pace for his best season since last season where he garnished 128 points in 72 games. Of course, situations can change - and pace can slow down - but with Boeser coming out saying this will almost definitely be his last season in the VHL; there is little to no doubt that he will leave the league without putting up amazing numbers, and amazing stories.

With the acquisition of Bo Boeser, Aksel McKnight has been having a career year, only 24 points behind his best year of last season - with 52 games to go. Aksel McKnight was a New York draft picked in the S58 draft, who has worked his way into the first and third line - both paired with Bo Boeser. McKnight has 21 apples, as well as no PIM during this time that he has been with Boeser.

Alongside Boeser and McKnight is a player that many felt would never live up his rookie year when he put up 105 points in 72 games with Cologne, and that player is Chase Keller. A S57 draftee that originally played with Cologne, until the team folded, leading Chase Keller to the NYA. During his last two seasons with the Americans - the rookie never performed up to his previous performance of his rookie year. Insiders believed there were some issues going on in the locker room - citing an incident that involved a tracksuit and perhaps a shower as well. Despite that incident, this season has been going phenomenally for Keller. 34 points in 20 games, playing RW with Boeser and McKnight on the 1st line, and centering the 2nd line with Felix Savard and Sergei (The Bomb) Komarov.

Without the phenomenal defensive prowess of Casey Jones and Colton Rayne - the Americans would not have the big goal differential they lead the league in right now. The top, middle, and bottom pairing of these two are poised to lead the team to the league title. Their ability to block shots, as well as hit and play crazy amounts of minutes (30+ a game on average) there is no doubt that this team is going to bring freedom to the VHL.

All in all, the New York Americans are poised to win it all this year, as long as they consistently stay within their boundaries, and keep doing what they already have been doing since the start of this season.

in 72 games with Colorado

Colorado? Say what?

Im guessing you must mean Cologne, we probably used the same shortened version. He also wasn’t traded, the team folded when we went back down to 8. Don’t expect you to know that mind you.
