So recently, the Ottawa Lynx roster has changed a bit, due to a combination of a trade and a midseason acquisition. The trade saw Chat and JP Desjardin exit the roster along with some picks, in exchange for adding Ryan Kastelic. Kastelic fits into an already stacked defensive group, with 3 guys either capped or within a week (Kastelic himself along with Lando Baxter and Joseph McWolf), and 2 more guys developing strongly as well (Gregor Rasputinov and Robert Renner). Numbers-wise, this keeps Ottawa at 5, but now 4 of the 5 are genuinely first-pair guys (the 3 caps and Rasputinov) and Renner could be a 2nd pair guy on most teams. We'll still be looking for another guy to pair with Renner out of the midseason guys.

The midseason acquisition was a left winger named Randoms, brought to the league through a personal affiliation with Lynx goalie Kallis Kriketers. Randoms is a strong physical presence, and will bring that side of things to the third line to give his new linemates, Jerome Mitchell and Rzerk, the opportunity to focus on their offensive game. Rzerk is a passing minded forward and Mitchell is a scorer, so with the checking of Randoms, this is now a fully balanced line.  This means there isn't really any more room for forwards on Ottawa, with the exception of a 4th line, where it's unlikely people will want to sign up to play.

Answer is yes. We'll beat you fair and square between two losses to Yukon, somehow.
