Banackock 8,052
We're 60% of so of our way through the VHLM season and have multiple teams up against the VHLM Salary Cap with some minimal roster spaces remaining. When new members join, it's extremely important that we get them familiar with the league and how it works, get them on a team and get them quickly experiencing how great this league is and what it has to offer. Due to the restrictive cap and the amount of players we've seen join this season, the cap will be demolished for the season. @jacobaa19 @ShawnGlade @BarzalGoat @Gooningitup @Laflamme @diamond_ace SO GM'S: 1. NO CAP for the remainder of the season. If you have open spots, you'll be offering 1.5M to players. 2. ONE SET PRICE - There's no more fluctuation in salary. NO 1 M or 2M or 1.75M. ALL OFFERS SHOULD AND WILL BE $1,500,000. 3. KEEP AN EYE ON YOUR GUYS - Talk to them, Involve them, you're their GOTO. If they're inactive, it may be best to cut and have an active fill in (IF IT MAKES SENSE). The league is changing, the amount of players we have joining are incredible. It's our duty as the league where everyone starts, to be strong, to be effective and to continuously find ways to better ourselves to be stronger and more effective. Next season (technically, now but officially then), this will be implemented and has already been updated in the rulebook: 3. Finances - Pay for All ACT There is NO salary cap in the VHLM. Players drafted by a VHLM organization will be granted $1,500,000 and will usable the moment the draft is finished. VHLM Waiver players will be granted the same amount of money ($1,500,000), though, GM's still offer their services to their team and the player is allowed to choose. VHLM FA cap is 1 active player. Once every team in the league signs a FA, if anymore available come, each teams allowance will be 2 and so on. VHL team may loan (or send down) a player to the VHLM after passing through VHL waivers. This player can then be claimed by any VHLM team at the cost of their waiver priority in the >40 TPE system. Contract length of each "loaned" player is 1 season. If a VHLM team still holds contract rights to this player prior, they can avoid having the player go on VHLM waivers and are subject to the VHLM contract previously signed. Thanks.
