Lines controversy yet again?

The Founders Cup finals currently sit at 3 games to 0 in favor of Ottawa over the expansion Halifax, despite Halifax sitting on top the whole season. While at first glance this seems odd, Ottawa was full of draftees who started out the season low on TPE and have been gaining all season, and so it's arguable we're the best team on paper at this stage despite perhaps not being that in the early part of the season. Here is the issue, however: Halifax GM @ShawnGlade has claimed his new lines were not entered for the playoff series. This is a bold claim and if true, perhaps warrants some merit in a resim (although the league has historically set a high barrier on resims). However, Ottawa also entered new lines, and these were put into the sim - the Ottawa line change was minor in that it just added Lando Baxter back into the power play where he was intended to be all along (instead I had Bo Axelsson on both PP1 and PP2) but since Baxter was on the PP for game 3, I know Ottawa lines were entered. If my lines went in, it seems unlikely that Halifax's wouldn't be, so perhaps my counterpart simply forgot to enter them in? Who knows - I'd like to get the official scoop on this, because I'd much rather win the cup with no doubters than win it with an asterisk.

If lines truly were missed, and I believe it potentially, then I would be for a resim. As much as It would suck for Ottawa, we can’t have that silly bull shit sucking out the fun of the league. If lines were sent in, they should have been uploaded. If not, there’s an unfair disadvantage. 

 

@Will @Higgins @Beketov Unsure who is simulating, but can we check if lines were sent and missed? If so, I’m 110% for a resim as it was caught in a timely matter and not 63 days after the series completed.

Agreed, to an extent. If there were lines sent in and not uploaded, absolutely. However, I find it hard to believe that they'd have noticed and uploaded my lines, but somehow missed his.

They haven't processed my call-up for three sims so it's possible, lol

To be fair I DID process it the first night but STHS apparently rejected adding a player during playoffs, I forgot to turn a CPU player into Cayden Saint as I said I would last night.

That's basically what I wanted was to see when the email had been sent - if there was one at all. Seemingly, all is well and the email potentially did send or something which unfortunately is not our problem or the leagues fault. Thus, I see no reason for a re-sim. 

 

Halifax can come back from the depths of hell though. DUN DUNNNN

I checked, and what officially happened was I sent in the lines for Games 2 and 3, but the email wasnt sent properly, or from the right email. I dunno what happened but I 200% sent an email with my lines, but I don't see it. Not sure if my network was out or what
