XXX Puts Up Condo for Sale in Downtown Manhattan

On the day of the VHL draft, a number of rumours have popped up. One of the most interesting ones that has crossed our desk is word that Xin Xei Xiao may be moved at the VHL draft. Sources report that XXX has recently put up his downtown Manhattan condo for sale for the price of $2,499,000. No official word has come down from the team rep but is this the prelude to a trade involving the popular forward? We began to speculate of the places that XXX could possibly fit into, not including cap constraints of course. A young power forward in the making, XXX is an imposing 6 foot 8, 250 pound body crasher that loves to shoot the puck. He made the New York roster post draft and came away with an impressive rookie season, one of the best for first year eligible in fact with 29 goals, 72 points and an eye popping 366 hits to open his career.

 

 

Riga, Latvia

One of the top destinations we think that XXX would have on his list, Riga has a young core moving forward and more importantly, XXX had previous indicated interest in playing alongside Brennan McQueen. Considered one of the premier power forwards going forward, McQueen has been bashing bodies into walls this past season already, imagine what would happen if XXX landed on that team. I cringe at the thought of having to deal with one bash brother already, let alone two monster hitting players on the same line. XXX would fit right into a core going into its prime within 2-3 seasons and would improve the offense of the squad by adding another shoot first forward on the team. Agent Terence Fong, has fairly good relations with the management in Riga, since former player Ying Qin arrived at that team previously.

 

 

Davos, Switzerland

A no brainer here, most of Terence Fong’s clients have traditionally been linked to this EU club since it was first known as the Havoc. The powerful Davos club has been rebuilt quite with the core of Lennox Moher and Bentley leading the way. Adding Naomi Young in the off-season has made the Davos squad the deepest down the middle than any other team in the league. A place where they could upgrade would be on the wing and adding XXX would give them another physical presence up front alongside Thomas Landry whom shoulders most of the heavy hitting in the corners for the club.

 

 

Vasteras IK

Not much connection behind the scenes here between Vasteras and agent Terence Fong since Ginzou Fujiwara more than a decade ago, but we think Vasteras could use a young forward like XXX. They were supposed to be playoff contenders last year but fell short, getting beat out by a rebuilding Cologne Express club. Vasteras is in desperate need for offense and XXX has played with Toriyama a fair bit before he was traded to Vasteras. Unfortunately for Vasteras, Leon Leitner, has been disappointing thus far so William Janssen has had to shoulder the offense load for the most part. XXX brings in another dynamic power forward shooter to the lineup that can ease some of the load of Janssen.

 

As mentioned before, no word has come officially or hinted that XXX is being moved, but with the acquisition of Odin Tordhal and the progression of Brick Wahl, there is speculation that XXX could be moved for a player that is in their prime to propel the Americans into a playoff spot as early as this season. The selling of the condo is for sure going to set tongues wagging, but what it truly means, we won’t know till the day is over likely.
