Quik 4,113 Posted July 10, 2019 Share Posted July 10, 2019 After a team vote, the Helsinki Titans are proud to announce their captains for the upcoming season: Captain: Julian Borwinn @Jubo07 A player who has done a tremendous amount of work for the Titans, on and off the ice, from the moment he was drafted, there is no better choice to wear the C than the man affectionately known as 'JuBo'. After a breakout performance in S66 that saw him capture almost every trophy imaginable, and wearing an 'A' for the past 3 seasons, Borwinn enters his 5th season with the team sporting a new letter on the front of his jersey. Alternate Captain: Matt Thompson @Beketov The man who made it no secret he was Cup Hunting when he came to Helsinki, Thompson performed as advertised in the Finnish Capitol, adding another Boulet and another Brooks Trophy to his Hall of Fame resume. Most importantly, S66 was Mission Accomplished, as the Titans won the Continental Cup in Thompson's first season with the team.
