Berocka 2,263
So it is History week and what a better time then to compare myself against previous Australians that have retired. No one has really made a mark on the VHL with only 4 players cracking the 100 TPE mark. My knowledge of the site in regards to previous players is quite limited so hopefully I have done this right. Please take this information with a grain of salt. Alexander Thrower This player reached 303 TPE and was owned by @gregreg. The Young Centre from Sydney who wore #61 on his Jersey. Was drafted 9th OA by Cologne Express in S52 where he scored 120 points before being traded to Stockholm in S54. With two below PPG seasons he was picked up by Riga in S56 where he had two good seasons with 97 points and 107 points consecutively. He finished his last season in New York with a measly 27 points before hanging up the skates for good. Thomas Duddy This player reached 297 TPE and was owned by @Duddy. The young defence-man was part of quite a few good teams in his career being apart of the following award winning teams. S45 Continental Cup - VHL Championship (HSK) S47 Continental Cup - VHL Champions (NYA) S45 Victory Cup - Best Regular Season Record (HSK) S47 Victory Cup - Best Regular Season Record (NYA) S45 Terence Fong Trophy - EU Conference Champion (HSK) S47 Devon Marlow-Marta Trophy - NA Conference Champion (NYA) But he never really excelled as a player after being drafted 6th by the Helsinki Titans he was moved around from Helsinki to Cologne to New York to Quebec. Never really excelling as the two way d-man he truly desired to be. He could lay some hits and block shots but also spent a significant time in the penalty box. Thomas Kennedy This player reached 296 TPE and falls third in this list he was owned by @Walter Fizz. In the S66 draft was drafted 57th overall in the VHLM by Ottawa and 78th overall by Seattle in the VHL. He was part of Ottawa's good season in S66 contributing 80 points as a young Right winger from Sydney. This success didn't continue into the VHL where he had an average season with the Bears and decided to retire after one season in the big leagues. So that leaves the question... Can Berocka Sundqvist be the best Australian to ever grace the ice in the VHL. Only time will tell. This isn’t my only attempt I retired that time due to controversies surrounding my name (which I made much worst). So I took some time away from the league, and this goalie is just here to help @Matt_O have someone in net, and maybe I’ll finally make a player to stick true to.
