I'm going to talk about the most unsung of all heroes: @Spade18, the mastermind behind the recent run of 4 straight Continental Cup finals by the Helsinki Titans. "But, Spade was never affiliated with the Titans. How can he be the mastermind behind their semi-dynasty?" Good question. During Season 62, our hero fell in love with a first-gen member, myself. He went as far as writing an ode to him for a past theme week, I think. As the New York Americans GM, he wanted me on his team and he did all he could to be able to select me in the S63 Entry Draft. I was the 3rd ranked prospect and NYA had the 3rd pick, but Spade could not even try to imagine living in a world in which he couldn't make me his stepson. He traded the 3rd pick and a 2nd rounder to the Helsinki Titans for the 2nd pick. Rest is history: Americans got their McWolf darling, Titans used the two picks they got to select Borwinn and Pepper. While I went inactive for 2 seasons and ended up as a journeyman, the Titans retained Borwinn and Pepper for their whole careers, making the finals 4 times and winning the Cup once.
