Davos Prospect Pool Drying Up?

The future in Davos is uncertain. Highlighted by the Season 38 entry draft, in which HC Dynamo was absent, the prospect pool is shallow – nay, it is on the brink of drying up. Davos lacks any solitary pick until Season 40, where they own all three of their original picks, and there is no consolation to be found in the pool that is populated by one (ONE!) prospect: Azmet Ali. The winger, playing in Bern for Season 38, is expected to join HC Dynamo in Season 39. Davos will have to hold strong until then for relief from the minors.

What happens in the mean time? HC General Manager Victor Alfredsson seems content with the core he has acquired with all those missing draft picks – but will he stay that way? Who will be the first one to go when the next draft comes around and Victor again has no picks to play with? The team is strong enough for now to last, but it’s only a matter of time before HC Dynamo liquidates its present for a stronger future.
