Another season has finally started! Which means it's time to see how every team's Overall Ratings look to start off Season 71. For those of you who don't remember me making these last season, I will post a link to the original article I created that shows the math behind how I came up with these numbers. So without further introduction let's take a look at the 12 teams in the VHL, seperated into their respective conferences.

NA

#1: Vancouver Wolves (1st Overall)

I'll make another one of these for the MidSeason, and then again for the playoffs. I'm excited to see the changes for every team and I wish everyone the best of luck for this 71st Season of the VHL!

Things that stand out:

-Riga Def 83.5 ? that's scary

-Toronto Offense is 2nd worst but is currently tied for 1st in the league in goals for ?

-Vancouver only team with nothing but 80's?

Nice work. I enjoy this breakdown

Give it time... or will Toronto's high flying offense continue as the season progresses?

Thanks man ?

I’m looking forward to doing this again for the MidSeason!

Edit: Also I was tempted to add +10 to the final overalls since I noticed it’s currently impossible for any Overall Rating to reach or exceed the 90 threshold. It would make the numbers look closer to the NHL games (ie. 70’s to 80’s, 80’s to 90’s) and even with adding +10 nobody would get close to (or break) 100.  What prevented me was the fact that in comparing this league to say the NHL, we should have lower Overall Ratings anyway (Ratings that look closer to the AHL caliber like they do now makes more sense to me).
