Some real personal achievements that I’d like to point out here quick:

Sadly, I zipped through that aforementioned media spot and realized I forgot add Felix Zamora to my player list, which is bad enough on its own, however he was also in last week’s trivia.  So… go me.  Anyways I’ve been lurking around these halls for god knows how long (9 years??) and figured I would finally compile a list of all the average, if not underwhelming characters I have casted upon the VHL.  Somehow I have made 6 players, however only the first of which has made it into the VHL Hall of Fame.  Fun fact, all of my player names (with the exception of OLOPM) come from an archived OOTP database from my first sim league back in 2004-2005 (still online, surprisingly, although long since defunct).   Another fun fact, I like Parks and Recreation.

6). Our Lady of Perpetual Motion, 123 TPE: She was really good at trolling people, not so much at practicing at all.  Her biggest accomplishment is being drafted in the third round.  Almost as notable, never made it to the VHL.  Was loved by @TheLastOlympian07 dearly.  In her free time she volunteered at the local plasma bank.

5). Sean Blacker, 277 TPE: Somewhat easy to forget, Sean played a few years in the league before I moved back to Chicago and thus, his eventual demise.  Played in the playoffs his second year with Davos, accumulating 9 points with a +6 in 19 games.  Probably better known for going 3rd overall (THIRD OVERALL) which I believe is the highest any frescoelmo player has gone.  RIP having faith in me.

4). Charles Drumm, 502 TPE (and counting): There is some recency bias here because he’s obviously current in the league, but Drumm is your classic middling defenseman who does the bare minimum and gets by just fine.  Solid defensive player but lacks any scoring prowess.  Statistics show a bleak story, and that’s because it is.  Known in the locker room as the best 4th defenseman in the VHL (@Enorama). Drumm hopes to get near another DC Dragons player who hoists the VHL Cup one day (assuming he won't actually be on the team when it happens).

3). Emerson Byer, 592 TPE: For a follow-up to a first-generation hall-of-fame player, Byer left a lot to be desired.  Yes, there were big shoes to fill, but you could argue he was on pace to best the TPE cap Saeijs set before him.  Drafted 7th overall (again), he managed to win one title with Davos, hitting 88 assists that season (was tied for 11th between seasons 31- 55ish).  That year would unfortunately be his last, and although it served as an amazing cap to a solid career, it's possible he would have been in line for eventual hall consideration had he gone all eight years.  Started off as a defensive defenseman and blossomed into an all-around threat from the blueline.

2). Felix Zamora, 612 TPE: Another cup winner with Davos (Tarik would be rolling around in his grave), Zamora was a solid all-around player that seemed to be in the right place at the right time.  Rolled around to a few different teams (free agent slut) but found most of his success with Davos as a second-liner.  Product of consistency as a two-way player, he averaged 33 goals, 44 assists (77 points), 36 +/- and 116 shots blocked over 6 seasons.  He served to be a nice rebound after Byer retired early.

1). Tarik Saeijs, 913 TPE: The actual frescoelmo GOAT, never to be repeated, was the agency's first-generation player, created out of many hours and weeknights while taking study breaks in a fraternity kitchen.  Tarik was selected 7th overall by Riga, not too long after his long-time teammate Olivier Scarlett was picked up 4th.  Aligning with the infamous Season 20 bonanza, his 157 points (just his second full season in the VHL) in one season is still amongst the tops in the league (along with teammate Kroenenburg), along with various games with almost comical statistics.  Despite all the numberous statistical accolades, Tarik was never quite able to get over the hump and win his first VHL championship.  His career also coincides with some epic media spot grading with @Phil @JardyB10.  Rather than banter about it more, I’ll just leave this here.  https://vhlportal.com/hof/inductees/17
