S72 Saskatoon Wild Captains

At the start of this season, the Saskatoon Wild is exactly in the position @Doomsday and I hoped we'd be. We built around our great core of S71 draftees, adding some new stars and some great depth pieces as well. We have managed to turn this team into a contender, not only this season, but hopefully for the one as well. But let's no get ahead of ourselves here. Our main target at this moment is a to make a run for a Cup this very season, and we have selected this group of players to be our leaders on and off the ice:

CPT. KEITH KRESTANOVICH.

@Boragina

Krestanovich was a waiver grab last season, and one of our main targets in the draft this offseason. From his very first day on the team, we have felt his positive presence in the locker room. We're glad we extended him an offer last season despite our limited open roster spots, and we're glad he has picked us as the location for the great return of the Boragina's player agency.

ALT. KAZIMIR KOMAROV.

@Gooningitup

A fourth-round pick in the S71 VHLM Draft, Komarov has stepped up big time when he joined the ranks of the Saskatoon Wild. He went from a forgotten prospect sliding down at the draft to our second best scorer last season, and he's back this season, hungry for even more. The decision to give him an "A" was made even easier, when we considered the successful history of the Gooningitup player agency with the Saskatoon franchise.

ALT. LUCAS BRANDT.

@twists

Our relationship was rocky for a good 24 hours after the VHLM Draft, but when all was said and done, we were extremely pleased that Mexico City's and Halifax's draft day shenanigans made the promising first-generational center slip to our 4th overall pick. We're excited to see what he can do, as he leads our top line both on and off the ice.
