Requirement: You must be able to link four recent written PT (Media Spots/590). I want to see that you are able to consistently write articles and meet deadlines. That is all I'm looking for. A lot of the things that kept me away i my life have been finished and I've found some stability. I totally get it if you want to go with a newer member, but if you want a sample of my work you can pick from any mag from 88 - 160ish. Every single job I applied to I've been shot down, they always pick more experienced and more respected members than I am. When putting in a conscious effort, I believe I can make a good to great article. I applied for the job as a VHLM Magazine Writer and of course, didn't get it, so I don't know why I believe I deserve this one. All I'm asking for is a chance to prove my worth. I am hiring Two Writers today, but keep your eye open as there is potential for a few more hires in the coming weeks. Congratulations to the following two members who have been added to the Magazine Team: Green: One of the more consistent members and writers on the site. He's been good for the magazine team in the minors and is looking for an added challenge. Green will be taking over the Victory Three. Jericho: He's a former Mag writer who has 80+ editions experience, plus was a former asst. editor. He left due to personal reasons that have been since resolved. He's very experienced, proven, and ready to return. I want to definitely acknowledge the people who didn't get the position and give you a reason why. Seth - You have been reliable so far, and pretty much are on the short-list if another spot opens. I like that you actually posted the requirements that were asked of you. Your podcasts have proven that you are in touch with the league, it was really a numbers thing for this one. Kyle - You're back, and your Media Spots/Biography that you've done so far have been great. You're one of my favorite members, and one of my first VHL memories is of a random 590 you did for Osborne when he was still in the VHLM. You are a former Magazine writer, however it was a rather brief stint. If you continue to do written PT's like you have since creating Keeler it will most likely be a no-brainer. seventy-four - Keep up the work with your writing. I will keep an eye out for your articles, from now until the time I do the next round of hiring. I have enjoyed a few of your 590's, and you seem like you are a quality writer. If there was more of our work to read your stock for this job would be higher. The quality is there, just more consistency and quantity is what I look for when hiring a Mag Writer.
