I AM RANKING MY DRAFT LANDING SPOTS

With the Season 74 Draft tomorrow I think I'm going to go a bit old school in this 590 and rank my preferred destinations at the draft. This used to be done by everybody in the draft but it seems not to really be a thing anymore. Maybe we are afraid to upset other members, or drop their stock which of course is understandable. But me? I'm an old school guy with an old school attitude so I'm going to go ahead and do that right now. Of course I'm not going to refuse to play for any of these teams and most of these teams I have slim to none chances of even playing for. But I always thought these were fun so why not try and give them a bit of a comeback the day before the draft. 

 

1. Moscow 

Played for there for all of Clarke's seasons, I'd love to be back.

 

2. Los Angeles 

I'm a Kings fan so this one is an easy second choice for me. 

 

3. Davos  

Was mostly always on Davos when I was my most active.

 

4. Chicago 

Jeff led us on the Oregon Trail he will always be my hero.

 

5. London 

Big tings in the UK bruv! 

 

6. Seattle 

Top notch organization, never have played for them.

 

7. Riga 

My number is retired in Riga what can I say?

 

8. Vancouver 

I helped name this organization when they were Quebec City, won my first cup as an active here.

 

9. Toronto 

I've always had a thing for Toronto, when I was at my most active they were consistently great.

 

10. Warsaw 

Don't love the name but love the city and colors. Muff owes me a cup or 4 for the Reik vs Snijider debacle.

 

11. Prague 

Prague is one of my favorite cities in the world and I am big on their logo as well. 

 

12. Calgary 

First team that ever drafted be all the way back in Season 6 or 7. Tobias Hemsky, what a legend.

 

13. New York 

I always seem to go inactive when I play for New York so maybe I associate them with me not enjoying myself. Certainly don't have any hard feelings against NY.

 

14. DC 

 

15. Malmo 

Victor made me hate them out of a rivalry that never happened, so here I am.

 

16. Helsinki

Disgusting. Absolutely disgusting.
