  1. I said I might. But obviously this all a ploy since I hate Seattle.

  4. 1. It's jealousy. He knows I'm a superior VHL historian even now. 2. It's always been Calgary, briefly was a toss-up with Davos, but nah Calgary wins my heart every time. Also the Stockholm Vikings of course, RIP. 3. Used to be Vasteras, now probably Quebec or Seattle. I'm going to go with Seattle because I've at least played for Quebec with moderate success. 1. Boredom I think and maybe a bit of a desire to help, inject a bit of activity. I'm just glad the VHL is still here and an option to come back to. 2. It's hard to choose a fave, there are many people I enjoy interacting with here. @JardyB10 and I go back a long time though, so for nostalgia points it has to be him. Least fave is much easier but I'd prefer not to answer - I've just come back so will use this as a clean(ish) slate. 3. Not hugely. In the past, there was some NHL influence I think, for instance Lars Berger started out based on Lars Eller, and Alexander Chershenko on Alex Ovechkin, but it became more of a very emotionless process for me - just build the best player for that position possible. Thank you for your questions you fine gentlemen, I will answer the other 4 next week and hopefully someone will throw a few more at me in the meantime.
  5. Half the Helsinki roster should be banned for some downright horrific names.
  6. Part I - Pick em' (Pick the correct winners of all three games for 1 TPE) Game 3 - Helsinki Titans vs Seattle Bears SEA Game 4 - Helsinki Titans vs Seattle Bears HSK Game 5 - Seattle Bears vs Helsinki Titans SEA Part II - Predict the Score (Predict the correct score and winner of this game for 3 TPE) Game 4 - Helsinki Titans vs Seattle Bears HSK 3-1 Part III - Player Predictions (Predict the correct player for each category, 1 TPE for each correct answer) Series leader in points: McAllister Series leader in goals: Gretzky Series leader in assists: McAllister
  7. I'd say the big 3 have fallen enough times in recent years for it to still be quite good. Generally 1 has missed out most years so it's not AS repetitive as it could be IMO. Also they are surely near the end now, I suspect we'll be seeing more Premier League teams going deeper in the future as the Messi/Ronaldo era comes to an end.
  8. Just shows Real's quality tbh (and I still fancy Bayern to win it because of lack of big German rival + Heynckes return). Increasingly likely semi-final of the big 3 and (probably?) Man City - tasty.

  10. I might have helped remove the perma from that perma ban. Hopefully it wasn't an error in judgement.
  11. OK I'm taking over Riga.
  12. I created during the playoffs, I will not have a team for a while. Talk to me.
