Recently we caught up with draft pick MC Hammer who has been bustling around as he gets ready for the VHLM dispersal draft as well as the VHL entry draft. After closed door meetings with his agent we were ble to sit down with Hammer and ask him a few questions. Interview: Mr. Hammer where do you see yourself going? Hammer: Honestly all I know is that I will not be a top 5 pick. Those are for those things that are called recreates (we really needa better word for them if we are trying to simulate real life ) I have been told that the top five picks are the same and I believe wingate will be going first overall. After that the top five is its own crapshoot as well as afterwards. Interview: Any team in specific that has contacted you? Hammer: That is for me to know and all of you to see on draft day. I am pretty sure though that I will not be there in the second round though Interview: Your agent also represents Aviad Ratzon over in the SHL. Does his draft stock drop in their S20 draft worry you? Hammer:Not at all. I have not gone away on any vacation at a crucial time in my career. I am ready for the draft and he as well as myself have been busy on the phones making sure that my name will be called on early in the draft

Recently MC Hamer's stock has risen. From what was considered a mid second rounder at his originally joining of the league, he was recently contacted by a few teams that wish to enlist the rapper turned hockey player's services. Asked if he was to drop Hammer joked the only way he purposely make his stock plummet was a new record deal. Also asked if Can't Touch This was required to be the goal he replied that it's not currently being played in Bern why would I be played there? The last question that he has come under fire with was will he have to be given celebrity treatment. He laughed and said that he doesn't get any on the ice why would he get any off of it? With the top three or four picks being set in stone, the question is will a team snatch Hammer early on or will he drop to the 9th or 10th pick and be there at Calgary's selection.

Recently the Bern Royals were forced into a game 7 after boasting a 3-1 lead after game four. So far in the series MC Hammer has scored 2 goals for the Royals. However both goals have been in losing efforts. As seen in the rest of the season most of Hammer’s goals have been when in either losing efforts or blowouts late in the game. As Game 7 looms over his head, Hammer is nervous that his inability to score at key moments will affect his draft stock. Recently he has been approached by a few GM’s about being picked early in this draft than he had originally expected. Hammer has been seen pacing outside the stadium before warm ups start. Does this extra stress affect the rapper turned hockey player? Does being a first round pick really mean that much to him? Is there any way he can score to actually help his team and not just in losing games? Tune in to see who will win game 7

As his first ever real "professional" hockey season has winded down, second line defense man MC Hammer has grown accustomed to the Hockey life. Recently asked if he was nervous about the draft he replied with a statement that he was more focused on winning a cup than on the draft. As the season has gone on Hammer has become more accustomed to playing with his fellow juniors. Having been a fight with them, the rift that might been caused between Hammer, Goody, and Merica seems to have been sealed up for good. We also asked Hammer about his production and he joked that he was happy to not be dead last on the team in points. He continued on stating that he was able to find the net and the score sheet more in recent weeks than he had in prior thanks to the advice of his peers. He said that he has never felt more confident on the ice and for this reporter I hope that he takes this into the playoffs as well as draft day 179 words

Breakdown of Bern’s Future Stars Recently, in a fan590, there was a locker room brawl about who would be a first rounder and who would not be for the Bern Royals. Recently we met with our analyst and decided to break it down by the numbers at how the young players are performing Chuck Goody: As a defenseman, Chuck Goody has a put up a large number of points for the Bern Royals. Currently, Goody is sitting with 19 goals 58 assists for a total of 77 points. However his production does not end there as he has a +20 ranking as well as over 100 hits. Not only has he registered over 100 hits but he has also blocked over 100 shots. On specialty teams Goody has been a monster. 19 out of his 77 points have come on the man advantage. He has been a force on both ends of the ice and a monster on the penalty kill as well. Based on a purely numbers standpoint, Goody should be a first round pick if not a top five pick. Josh Merica: Sitting a bit lower down on the team’s total points is outspoken Josh Merica. Merica this season has amassed 19 goals and 26 assists for a total of 45 points. Just as physical as his teammates, Merica has crushed people a total of 100 times so far this season. However this is where he drops off in the numbers race. As a forward he is not a big shot blocker like most forwards. He has a total a dismal 8 shots blocked this season. He also has not been as strong as Goody on the power play totaling just 10 points on the man advantage. Although not as dominant on the power play, he has scored a goal on the penalty kill. Although his numbers are not as great, Merica could still be a first rounder based solely on performance as well his potential. His potential because he had a terrible beginning to the season but was able to pick it up (This is also known as Merica having 40 as his endurance in the sim for over a week) MC Hammer: Now to analyze the man that threw the first punch, MC Hammer. Hammer has not been anywhere near a point per game with his 8 goals and 15 assists bringing him to a team low 23 points. However where he has been dreadful on offense he has brought it on the defensive side of the ice. Currently Hammer has more hits than both Merica and Goody. He also has been able to amass more shots blocked that most of his team, only being behing Goody and a few other players. Taking the same analysis as the other players, Hammer has been awful on the power play by only amassing a total of four points. Four points is half of the total shots that Daniel Merica has blocked. He also has not been able to stay out of the penalty box with a total of 47 penalty minutes which is more than most of his team. However he has had a recent change of how he has been training, focusing on individual aspects instead of his overall game. This could lead to a large increase in both shots blocked and points scored. Hopefully Hammer is able to improve and be able to be a star that he wants to be. With all of this in mind, Hammer is not a first round pick currently. However he could sneak into the first round if his new found training change improves his numbers and make him a worthwhile player to grab.

Competition to be a First Rounder Causes Locker Room Brawl Late last night after the Bern's triumphant victory over the Red Wolves, multiple comments were made about who from their team should be first overall. One source said Merica was the first to claim that he should be the first overall being related to SHL Star Daniel Merica while Chuck Goody said that his agent Nike has guaranteed his success when advancing to the VHL. However one person did not want to sit their quietly and that was new comer MC Hammer. Having been an artist hammer knew how to get it done both on stage as well as behind close doors. And sometimes he was not all about the music. All reports say that the conversation got heated but all reports stay the same, Hammer threw the first punch. When reports were able to get in the locker room Hammer was seen with two black eyes, Merica had an ice bag under his bleeding nose, and Goody was seen getting stitches. When word broke of this fight the question was will this effect Hammer's stock. In this reporters opinion I think no as his super star status and star agent Andybj will make him the first rounder he deserves to be.
