  5. ***not done yet but i'm posting it anyways so pls dont grade it yet*** Eric McCloy analyses his last shift on the jumbotron. With the VHLM draft just passing, and the Ottawa Lynx taking center Eric McCloy in the 2nd round, a lot of the scouts were wondering "who is this guy?". Touted to be a very, very late pick (if we was even to be picked at all) this draft due to the player agent's relation with previous bust Mikael Gribov, McCloy found himself surprised to be selected in the second round. Let's take a look and analyze his game and see what he brings to the Lynx. Strengths: Passing: McCloy's biggest asset is his passing game. He can get the puck to the low percentage areas that it needs to be in to create high chance scoring opportunities. His vision of the game is second to none, and it shows when he dishes the puck to his teammates. Defense: McCloy prides himself on being responsible on both ends of the ice. He doesn't try to block a ton of shots, but he is very solid in limiting his own turnovers to make it easier on his goaltender and defensemen. Skating: McCloy is a very solid skater, making it easy for him All around offensive Center: Weaknesses: Checking: Strength: Scoring: Discipline:
