What was the last junk food you indulged in? Ketchup Chips 7.) What do the Wolves do for team bonding? We go to the Roxy 8.) You all are split into 2 paintball teams. Who is the player that gets the most aggressive? What do they do? Right now, Triple H because hes a grummpy old man 9.) Are you in it for the money? The fans? The Fame HOF? or for Your Team? HOF 10.) Nicest thing you have done for a teammate? When ben was traded, we all sent him away with a nice going away present for all hes done for us, scoring the Game 7 OT winner
  3. The Moscow Trio of Randoms, Jet Jaguar and Smitty Werbenjaggermanjensen will pretty well be assured of a point per game average on the season as they are the the only players above 70 points this season at this point in time. Randoms has 33 goals and 39 assists for 72 points, Jet has 28 goals and 48 assists for 70 points and Smitty scored 16 goals and assisted on 56 assists for 70 points. This trio is setting the pace in the league and not many would have guessed this. Many projected Smitty to have a good season most likely winning the Labatte but to be tied for 2nd in league scoring is something no one projected. Jet selected with the 10th overall pick to be tied for 2nd, no one expected him to be this good this fast. Randoms is having a Random season I suppose because I don't think he was supposed to be this good. Overall, it's been a weird season. Triple Hatch would slide into the 3rd spot as he has 69 points (nice). The 1st OA pick who was not doing well in Riga, moved to Vancouver and has been on fire since.
  4. GM: Austin Gow (72/18/49/5/41) Former GM(s): Jardy Bunclewirth (504/172/307/25/369) Jason Glasser (1080/547/456/67/1,181) Record (after S20): 1,656 GP | 737 W | 812 L | 97 OTL | 1,591 P | 4,797 GF | 5,629 GA Playoff Record (after S20): 118 GP | 57 W | 47 L | 14 OTL | 3-1 vs TOR, 2-2 vs QUE, 1-1 vs HEL, 1-0 vs DAV, 1-2 SEA, 1-4 vs NYA Season 42 VHL Entry Draft Round 2, Pick 15: Artemis Fowll @Fowll Round 3, Pick 25: Hashtag Jeffership @JeffD Round 4, Pick 31: Joe Moore @steezo The Gow drafting didn't start out strong but the Season 42 class wasn't that strong anyway outside Bismarck Koenig, Callum Sinclair, Wolfgang Strauss, Blake Campbell and Benjamin Zeptenbergs. So by the time 15th overall came around it was slim pickings. Interesting pick in Round 3 though as we know how active he can be and how often he goes inactive. The Wranglers were unfortunate enough to get him in an inactive phase. Trades (Regular Season): To (S40) D - King Czar IIITo S44 CGY 3rd (Forfeited)Calgary Wranglers GM: Austin Gow @eaglesfan036Helsinki Titans GM: William Shaw @Will To S43 RIG 2nd (D Golden Jedtsson)To (S41) G - Coca ColaStockholm Vikings GM: Benoit Prévost @boubabiCalgary Wranglers GM: Austin Gow To (S36) RW - Robert Gow IIITo S44 HSK 2nd (C Jefferson Jackson)S43 COL 3rd (D Dennis Saad)S43 HSK 3rd (Forfeited) Helsinki Titans GM: William ShawCalgary Wranglers GM: Austin Gow Some minor trades throughout the season for the Wranglers. The return for RG3 seemed kind of low and looking back, it still seems that way, a 2nd and 2 3rds? The 2nd for Coca Cola looks bad looking back and the Czar III trade looks like a cap dump which got traded back to them anyway. Season 42 Regular Season - 72 GP | 18 W | 49 L | 5 OTL | 41 P | 176 GF | 299 GA The Wranglers entered another rebuild which I think is the 3rd rebuild since Season 20, which is not bad if you think about it. They got 2 cups out of the last two rebuilds so why not tear down to the studs and try once more. The Wranglers finished last in the NA Conference with 41 points. It was a dismal season for the Wranglers who looked to trade anyone for anything they could get. If you're going to be bad, you need to really be bad to secure 1st OA. Marcus Hurley led the team in scoring with 74 points in 72 games. In reality, RG3 led the team in scoring with 80 points but he was traded to the Titans at the deadline. Jarome Iginla continued to pull double duty and he had a fairly decent season with 71 points on the year. CGY G1 played all 72 games which is against the rules but since he should have technically been a backup, the VHL didn't give a shit. Human goalie, Zack Gagnon Jr was trash in 3 games in mop up duty with a 0.809 save percentage and a 6.72 G.A.A. Edwin Encarnacion can't seem to stay away from the Wranglers as hes back for a third tour of duty. It ended with a 59 point effort. Season 42 Playoffs - N/A The Wranglers did not qualify for the Playoffs in Season 42. Trades (off-season): To (S40) D - Jaime HillTo S43 COL 1st (D Theo Matsikas)S44 CGY 2nd (D Supa Hot Fire)Calgary Wranglers GM: Austin GowToronto Legion GM: Tyler Edgar @Edgar To (S40) LW - Rami JakobssenS44 QUE 2nd (RW Ash Stevens)To S44 HSK 2nd (C Jefferson Jackson)S45 CGY 2nd (LW Danger Van der Merwe)Calgary Wranglers GM: Austin GowQuebec City Meute GM: Clinton Chevy @Kesler Some more trades by Gow that were interesting. Bringing in Jamie Hill who is going to be halfway through her career by the time she starts next season with the Wranglers for a 1st and a 2nd was eye brow raising for the rebuilding team. Then trading 2 2nds for Rami Jakobssen and a 2nd was also interesting. I guess in Season 43, we will see how these moves pan out. Awards: N/A Overall: Edwin Encarnacion @Tagger is the highest scoring active player on the Wranglers with 167 points in 195 points which makes him around the 23rd player and 10th highest scoring defenseman. Marcus Hurley isn't that far behind with 159 points in 144 games. Jarome Iginla and Kez Kincaid are the two other players to break 100 career points in a Wrangler uniform. Overall, there was not much to write about this season. Just a plain old rebuilding year.
  5. another Trade which @Beaviss trades a well loved character in the LR. classic beav
  6. nothing like beating Seattle. nothing like beating Seattle and scoring two goals. NOTHING LIKE BEATING SEATTLE AND SCORING 2 GOALS AND GETTING 1ST STAR. seattle sucks

  15. yea the FWA. It was a redemption too so i think they expire this year if im not mistaken. so imo the price will just be going up because after tho expire UD doesnt honor them anymore which is bullshit imo
  16. 7. What is your post game ritual after a win? I like to go on the bike for about half and hour to stretch it out after a game then some drinks for celebrate 8. How about after a loss. I like to go on the bike for about half an hour to stretch it out after a game then some drinks for sorrow 9. If you could achieve any thing this season what would it be? Well for this upcoming season, I am on my way to a new career high 10. What do you think your biggest strength going into the post season is? Scoring 1.) Has the team ever collectively Howled at the moon? Yes after every win 2.) Best kept secret about the Wolves LR? If we told you how would they be secrets 3.) What is the weirdest thing you have caught GM Keaton Louth @Beaviss doing in his office (make me laugh) jerking off to the Wolves winning the cup 4.) Vancouver is a guaranteed playoff team, choose a team most likely to beat you. And no you can say you are invincible? Calgary because we always have Game 7 OT nail biters
  17. i have a Auston Matthews SP Authentic RC, i'd say is my best card. value on that bad boy is $1500 CDN. I have been quite lucky this year with Artifacts. Pulled a Alex Ovechkin /10 Auto worth probably 300-500 CDN depending on who wants to buy and a Mario Lemieux /28 worth the same 300-500. i put those away in my not trading or selling pile. That pile if i had to put an estimate on would be around 7500-8000 bucks.
  18. Shawnomir Jagr has been having his best season yet. The 4th year pro has had his struggles to say the least coming off his ELC. With seasons of 16, 31 and 45 points, one was beginning to wonder if Jagr would ever figure it out. Well it looks like in Season number 4, the Czech winger has figured it out with draft mate HHH. Jagr has scored 13 goals and assisted on 28 goals for 41 points on the season which makes him the 2nd highest scoring RW in the VHL, 4 points behind another draft mate, Mikko Aaltonen. This also puts Jagr 7th in league scoring at the moment and he is on pace for 80 points. This would almost double his career high. It only looks to be on the upswing from here for Jagr and the Wolves as they are tops in the league when many pegged the Seattle Bears for the team to beat but, many forget that the Wolves were champs just two seasons ago and had a 1st year starter last season. It is like that classic Homer meme. "Everyone is stupid but me" when the Wolves were talking about being a top team this season.
