  1. GM: Jason Glasser (1080/547/456/67/1,181) Former GM(s): Jardy Bunclewirth (504/172/307/25/369) Record (after S20): 1,584 GP | 719 W | 763 L | 92 OTL | 1,550 P | 4,621 GF | 5,330 GA Playoff Record (after S20): 118 GP | 57 W | 47 L | 14 OTL | 3-1 vs TOR, 2-2 vs QUE, 1-1 vs HEL, 1-0 vs DAV, 1-2 SEA, 1-4 vs NYA Season 41 VHL Entry Draft Round 2, Pick 19: Matej Nemecek @RoughHands Trades (Regular Season): To (S35) D - Tony Stark(S37) LW - Jakob LinholmTo S43 RIG 2nd (D Golden Jedtsson)Quebec City Meute GM: Clinton Chevy @KeslerCalgary Wranglers GM: Jason Glasser @diamond_ace Just a late 2nd round pick named Nemecek was all the Wranglers got through the draft in S41. It looks like more of the same after the trade of Tony Stark and Jakob Linholm in Season 41 as these two players were traded for a S43 RIG 2nd. Season 40 Regular Season - 72 GP | 41 W | 28 L | 3 OTL | 85 P | 249 GF | 222 GA The Wranglers actually improved on this season despite trading away a few players who helped them get to where they were. Martin Brookside was another huge part in the Wranglers staying where they are. Lukas Nyqvist had a huge season in which he scored 50 goals and had 121 points. Andrew Erikson also broke the 100 point mark which was a huge surprise for these two players considering they were mostly depth players. They are a couple of oddball players to reach the 100 point mark in VHL history. Brookside went 38-23-3 with a 0.922 save percentage and a 2.82 G.A.A with 3 shutouts. Overall, they were just good enough to beat out the Toronto Legion for the last playoff spot. They were once again 6/6 in playoff team standings. They were the only team not to break 90 points. Season 41 Playoffs - 5 GP | 1 W | 4 L | 0 OTL - 1-4 vs QUE The Wranglers and Meute meet in the Playoffs for the 2nd straight year. There is no sugar coating this one though, the Wranglers were just no match for the Meute this season and were easily dispatched 4 games to 1. The teams traded wins in Quebec as QUE won game 1, 3-1 while CGY won game 2, 3-2. The next 3 games weren't that close at all with QUE winning by a combined score of 17-9. Hurley had himself a great series with 4 goals and 4 assists for 8 points in the 5 games. Trades (off-season): To S43 COL 1st (D Theo Matsikas)S43 QUE 2nd (G Roland Rengel)To (S36) G - Martin BrooksideCalgary Wranglers GM: Austin Gow @eaglesfan036Cologne Express GM: Ryan Power @Devise To (S37) LW - Dexter MorganTo S42 CGY 4th (Pass)Calgary Wranglers GM: Austin GowQuebec City Meute GM: Clinton Chevy To (S35) D - Edwin Encarnacion's rightsTo S44 CGY 4th (Forfeited)Calgary Wranglers GM: Austin GowStockholm Vikings GM: Benoit Prévost @boubabi It was a huge shift in power for the Wranglers as for the first time in 1,080 games, they will have a new GM as Jason Glasser stepped down and was subsequently traded to the Cologne Express by his successor in Austin Gow. Gow then preceded to make a few more trades and to be honest, I would say he won those trades as the picks traded away were not used and he managed to get a 1st and 2nd round pick for Brookside. Awards: N/A Overall: Lukas Nyqvist moves up to 24th all time with 166 points after his huge season @Motzaburger. Andrew Erikson also breaks the 100 point mark with 148 career points. These two become the 30th and 31st players to break 100 career points with the Wranglers. Kez Kincaid and Hurley have had fine 1st seasons with the Wrangers coming in at 91 and 85 points. Tony Stark moves up to 23rd all time before being traded and ends his Wrangler career with 174 points, tied with Gabriel Cedarland. Jarome Iginla pulls double duty playing in both the VHL and NHL puts up 81 points in his rookie VHL season. Linholm puts up 77 points in 48 games before being traded to the Meute. LaMichael Charmander puts up a measly 7 points in 70 games. Nobody on this team breaks 10 playoff points, Nyqvist has 9. Martin Brookside moves up to 2nd in most goalie categories @diamond_ace. Brookside plays the most games in playoffs history with 23 but has only 8 wins.

  8. yeesh .810 save percentage
  9. F - Shawnomir Jagr
  10. 4-0-1 against the Bears this season. not bad since the bears thought they'd go 72-0-0 while playing Malmo in the finals.
  11. 3-0-1 against the Bears. Jagr has 8 points in these games i believe
  12. GM: Jason Glasser (1008/516/428/64/1,096) Former GM(s): Jardy Bunclewirth (504/172/307/25/369) Record (after S20): 1,512 GP | 688 W | 735 L | 89 OTL | 1,465 P | 4,372 GF | 5,108 GA Playoff Record (after S20): 113 GP | 56 W | 43 L | 14 OTL | 3-1 vs TOR, 2-1 vs QUE, 1-1 vs HEL, 1-0 vs DAV, 1-2 SEA, 1-4 vs NYA Season 40 VHL Entry Draft Round 3, Pick 21: Superbman @xDParK Round 3, Pick 25: Marcus Hurley @Cuffy Round 4, Pick 35: Sepp Reiter @O4L Round 5, Pick 45: Chase White @Bengals1fan Trades (Regular Season): To (S38) RW - MF Percy MillerTo S42 VAS 4th (C Joe Moore)Vasteras Iron Eagles GM: Benoit Prévost @boubabiCalgary Wranglers GM: Jason Glasser @diamond_ace To (S36) LW - Johan HallstromTo S41 NYA 2nd (LW Matej Nemecek)Calgary Wranglers GM: Jason GlasserRiga Reign GM: Jim Gow @flyersfan1453 A few small moves made by GM Jason during the season, I think he moved Percy Miller because he just simply didn't want to be there. The return wasn't must just a 42 VAS 4th rounder. Johan Hallstrom though was quite the pick up. A S41 NYA 2nd rounder was the cost and I would say that was a shrewd pickup. Season 40 Regular Season - 72 GP | 39 W | 28 L | 5 OTL | 83 P | 195 GF | 171 GA For the 2nd straight season, the Wranglers made the playoffs although they were the lowest ranked team to make it, coming in at 83 points which was 6/6 out of the playoff teams. Thomas Landry came over in the Godavari trade as well. He was a nice pick up as he lead the team with 35 goals and 47 assists for 82 points. Johan Hallstrom totaled 74 points but 41 of these points came in 39 games with the Wranglers. Boychuk had a disappointing season by his lofty standards with 33 goals and 33 assists for 66 points. The Wranglers really spread out the scoring with every player reaching 40 points on the season. Martin Brookside had a decent season putting up a 37-24-5 record with a 0.907 save percentage and a 2.20 G.A.A to go with 9 shutouts. Season 40 Playoffs - 12 GP | 5 W | 6 L | 1 OTL - 4-3 vs QUE, 1-4 vs NYA Calgary once again was able to sneak into the playoffs. The reward? A date with the Quebec City Muete who were heavily favored. The Wranglers split the first two games in Quebec with the win coming off the backs of a 2 goal Godavari game. However, going back to Calgary, the Wranglers lost two straight going down 3-1, but fear not, the 3-1 curse is real. The Wranglers would rattle off 3 straight wins including a series clinching 1-0 win in OT IN game 7. It was quite the series for Godavari. In the next series, the Wranglers would be playing the New York Americans who are 3-1 vs Calgary in the playoffs. You know how the Wranglers were underdogs in the first series? Well now they were even bigger underdogs. The Americans ended up going 2-0 at home by a combined score of 8-2. The Wranglers ended up winning Game 3 4-3 at home with 4 different players scoring goals. The Wranglers almost blew the game though going up 4-0 and let in 3 unanswered goals. Game 4 was an OT game which the Wranglers lost and I think this game might have taken the win out of the sails. Game 5 was a 3-1 Americans win. Godavari and GIYGAS led the team in scoring with 12 points in 12 games. Thomas Landry pitched in with 11 points in 12 games as well. Brookside went 5-6-1 with a 0.925 save percentage and a 2.42 G.A.A. Overall, considering being ranked 6/6 for playoff teams, to make it to the NA Finals was quite the accomplishment. If the Wranglers win game 4 OT, it is a different series. Trades (off-season): To (S39) RW - Jarome IginlaS43 QUE 1st (D Michael Clardy)S41 NYA 2nd (LW Matej Nemecek)To (S35) D - Edwin Encarnacion's rights(S37) C - Travis BoychukS41 CGY 4th (Forfeited)Calgary Wranglers GM: Jason GlasserQuebec City Meute GM: Clinton Chevy @Kesler To (S37) C - Kez Kincaid(S37) LW - Jakob LinholmS43 COL 2nd (LW Kewl Runnins)To (S36) RW - Godavari YumalatopintoCalgary Wranglers GM: Jason GlasserCologne Express GM: Alexander Schneider @RomanesEuntDomus A few years of accelerating the rebuild, GM Jason decided to trade off assets. The return was not that good in hindsight, Boychuk and rights to EE for Jarome Iginla and a S43 1st which wasn't that bad tbh. The 1st turned into a good player. The trade for Gadavari though? Was he retiring? Was he not active because Kez Kincaid, Linholm and a COL 2nd for Godavari? Seems a bit short. Awards: N/A Overall: Travis Boychuk breaks into the top 11 in team scoring with 260 points in 216 games @DollarAndADream, this would be his last season in Calgary though as he was traded to Quebec in the off-season. GIYGAS moves to 13th in scoring with 237 points in 267 games @.sniffuM. Godavari in his 2nd go around in Calgary is breaks the 100 point mark. Tony Stark and Edwin Encarnacion also break the 100 point mark @Tagger. Rookie Lukas Nyqvist puts up a solid 45 points in his rookie season @Motzaburger. Brookside climbs to 3rd in wins with 97, he is also the 2nd goalie since S20 to break 100 losses. @diamond_ace GIYGAS moves up to 4th in playoff scoring with 47 points in 52 games. No one else really is close surprisingly with Godavari up next with 12 points in 12 games. Brookside is tied for 4th with 7 playoffs wins. He also has the most losses in playoff history for the Wranglers with 8. His 0.922 save percentage isn't bad at all but is 5th. Calgary Wranglers Stats
