1. I am, Still unsure what but something, Hopefully it will be cool 2. Hmm, A lot of years ago i tried it out but it fizzled out for some reason. Now i think i got recruited on Reddit and wanted to try again 3.Huge nerd- level. Always loved hockey. My grandpa took me to games as soon as i could walk, Started playing as soon as i could but quit when i hit the teenage years. Girls, Smokes and how to get underage-drunk without money took all my time.. Started to watch NHL half way through Canucks cup-run season of 2011 when i moved to my own apartment and finally could get the channels. Decided to start watch the Canucks because of the Sedins and then it stuck with me ever since, Now me and my eldest son goes to some local games and he just started playing 4.With lots of turkey i suppose? Thanksgiving has always peeked my interest. We don't have anyhthing like it in Sweden. So i would probably see if we have anyone going home for the holidays and try to tag along to experencie a real thanksgiving 5.Mostly reloading for the next game. Resting in front of the tv, Exploring New York and going to restaurants. 6. Dec 1. I like x-mas season and all but everything before dec 1 can fuck right off. -

1. TBH i don't think this is our year, We get som new really good talent from the juniors next year and i'm thinking that will be the year we take that next step. But you never know, With the new goalkeeper we have played fairly good 2.Hmm, Maybe one more D for a solid 1-2 pair and the go for maybe a high end center if we can (Can always put a center on wing if need be) 3.Hmm, I haven't been around long enough to know but if it's anything like the real NHL the trade deadline get prices jacked up to max, So i would maybe wait for offseason. Trading draftcapital isn't a bad idea if we are going into a more of a win now mode sending a say first for a established player that helps us for a few seasons instead of drafting and wait a couple of years and hope we pick a player who align with our current core. 4.I was going to pick No2 but it was taken so i wen't with No6 instead 5.Lidström, High hopes baby 6. I have no clue, something fast with a guitar-line everyone remember and feels direct. -

S91 has begun! How are you feeling now that we are a few games into the season? Feeling good, We knew we are in for a hard year as a team. But it gives us better chances down the road What are you hoping to see your player excel at this season? Shots Blocked and Assists. two stats that shows that you are a good teamplayer Does your player prefer a tucked-in sweater, or a loose and hanging one? Tell us why. Loose all day every day, that's the coolest. What hobby does your player have that keeps their mind free of the stress of a busy schedule? Going around house-watching. Just driving or walking about watching what other people has done to their houses and judging it. Cool,Nice, ugly,WHat the Fuck where they thinking etc.. If your player could only read one book for a year, what would it be and why? 631122 by Stephen King, Loved it and actually thought the Series with James Franco was alright to. Your player has one chance to prank the GM of New York without getting caught. A) Do they take that chance? B) If so, what is the prank? A: Hell yes! B:Thin plastic over the toilet rim, making pee go errywhere. -
1 - What did your player do for work before joining the vhl? Some really questionable stuff. Let's not go into it to deep but he had a rough going before pulling himself back together just in time for the draft. Some say that the veteran club in Malmö still talks about the evenings they had with Tord in the sauna. 2 - What do YOU do for a living at the moment? What's your short term goal, job-wise? I'm a technician at a heating plant, Been for about two years now. So my short term goal is to just learn everything there is to know about our boilers and how to maintain them efficiently. It will take a few more years since we have a lot of different brands and we've had alot of turnover so it has been try and fail kinda education. But that's step one. Then somewhere in the future i think i want to become more of a technical/project-manager or something like that 3 - Kind of a dark question, but I had this in a recent nightmare that replayed itself... if you jumped out of a plane and your chute didn't open, what/who would you think about on the way down? My family i think, I would be sad that i didn't get to know them through their life and be there for all of their accomplishments and/or though times. And fear i think. I've already had some anxiety about the inevitable so i don't like to think about it too much 1. If you had to choose one brand of car to drive for the rest of you'r life. What brand and why? 2.If you had to put yourself in a stereotype based on yourself in real life, Which would you fall into? 3.What's the story behind the naming of your VHL-Player?

The S91 VHL Entry Draft has come and gone, and we used our highly esteemed 1st overall pick to snatch up Callum Gary Yannick Janser @Daniel Janser. Explain why this was a good or bad decision. I think it's a great pick! We we're thin on D and the consensus no1 pick is D too so it all played out perfectly, Being a member of a team going through a rebuild is tough. How do you manage to keep the joy of playing the game in the midst of many tough losses? I was part of it last year and i had fun looking at the individual stuff of our team. And when you don't win as often, every win means more As we enter into a new season in the VHL, tell us about your favorite VHL season and why it's your favorite. I have to say the last one, S91. Mostly because it was my first and only season :P. I think i did pretty darn well for a 2nd round rookie, much better than expected and thanks to being on a rebuilding team i got to be kinda 1st D over the boards in every situation so that was fun Does your player have any final plans before the season begins? Just rounding his visit to Sweden, Going to fill a bag of "Snus" and eat one last kebabpizza. What are three songs that can be found on your player's playlist? Right now it's al ot of Lars Winnerbäck, Never liked him before but he has really grown on Tord. So it would have to be: Lars Winnerbäck - Något som verkligen är bra. Lars Winnerbäck - En av alla Dom. Anti-Flag - Anatomy of your enemy What's your favorite part about living in New York? The variety, whatever you want you can get anytime. -
1. How early is too early to hear the first Christmas song? NO CHRISTMAS BEFORE 1st DECEMBER! and that's a fucking rule!. 2. What player from another sport would be a great hockey player Hmm, I only watch hockey.. Maybe Zlatan Ibrahimovich, He's a strong tall dude with a competelevel out of this world. 3. Who should go first OA in S91 Draft Well, Based on TPE Thor Reingard should be 1st. But Callum Gary Yannick Janser plays Defense and sometimes that's a premium position so i'l say Janser. Can you tell us a random memory from when you where younger? Who will win the stanley-cup this year? What do you do for a living?
-
I'd be interested in an AGM postition, Like an intern to see how things are done and learn the ropes if any of the GM's are willing to be a mentor
-
1. If you could choose any city/country to move to for 2 years right now, which would it be and why? 2.Do you know anyone famous? 3. If you suddenly get a child (Male or Female, you decide) what would you choose to name it?
-
Thank you for the kind words. Saw someone have a sig with the background-white and wanted to play around with it Thanks

I'm pretty new around here and doesn't really know what has happened here in the past, But @thadthrasher and @McWolf are great

Sportbladet in Sweden ran an article about Tord Yvel and interviewed his Agent Efraim Barkbit. I translated it for the fans of New York Americans who wonders if they should buy a Yvel-jersey or not. Enjoy! How are the Contract talks going between New York Americans and Tord Yvel going? We have had a little chat with Tord Yvels Agent; Efraim Barkbit. Hello Eftraim Barkbit, How are you doing? Hey, Nice to hear from you. I’m doing great although these are hectic times with some of my clients here and over in Europe hitting the offseason, I can imagine that. Today i would like to ask you some questions about Tord Yvel’s status and future as an American. Sure, Shoot and will answer what i can. Let's just go hard right away: Have there been any firm offers on the table? You know I can't go into details but I can tell you that my client has yet to be presented with a dotted line. Have the Club any interest in retaining Tord? Have there been any talks about an extension? Yes, The decision makers in New York reached out and we have an ongoing discussion on what the next contract should look like. My client is very happy with how The Americans have handled this. So there should be a contract signed soon? All i can say is that my Client Tord has loved his time in New York and would like to retire as and American. But as you know, When offseason is upon us this turns into a business and both parties need to be on the same page. For now i would say that we are close and we are working on a detail or two but i am confident we will get this done. ~299 words

1. Number 2. The coach threw me a random jersey before my first game as a little boy, Been my lucky number ever since 2. Hmm, i think the VHL has it covered pretty well. But maybe i would do a "Rookie Rumble". Players 2 with max two season in the VHL can sign up to GM a team decided by a draft of the VHL players on discord, Then they get to coach that team in a tournament. 3. I'm a defender. But i have a PK Subban style of move when in netfront battles, Fart and hope it smells like hell 1. Are you sure you want to answer these questions? 2. If you have a pet what do you think it has named You? If you don't have one, Would you want one? 3. My wife wants a third kid, Do you think three kids are to much, the right amount or too few? Why?

Oh, going 0-18 would absolutely suck donkeyballs. Gonna hope for 5 wins and a comeback next year

“Possibly Analfisted but Defenitly FISTED ANALLY BY A CIRCUS MONKEY-Champ of ‘88” Voices on obscure hockey-forums and in basements around the world have been raised.. Was anyone in the s88 draft FISTED ANALLY BY A CIRCUS MONKEY? Has anybody been slighted by 10+ teams!? Insulted worse than insults involving Pigeons and/or Frenchmen let's take a look at the prospects and compare who has risen to glory, to put GM’s to shame, To shine light on possibly the the snub of a lifetime! Ps I will simply look at TPE… This article is started 15/9 and the TPE and stats may differ between the players with a day or two updates, At first we will go through the prospects in draft order and see what we first notice. 1 M.Callaway 779 2 S.Analfist 830 3 B..Bob 794 4 J.Davis 747 5 J.Stone 930 6 M.Stauffer 689 7 L.Slater 693 8 F.Mancini 671 9 O.Lazaro 605 10 M.Dilson 740 11 G.Mckeggegger 569 12 L.Gaming 493 13 N.Andersson 585 14 R.wheeler 546 15 D.turtle 425 16 M.Rice 480 17 M.Bigmac 246 18 A.Deluca 294 19 A.Tsujimoto 151 20 T.Yvel 502 21 E.s.Dudzinska 354 22 O.Gauthier 349 23 S.Romanov 154 24 F.Lewkowicz 148 25 J.williams 486 26 D.C.Lll 223 27 T.Dew 363 28 D.Mcilrath 263 29 B.Bjornabjorkson 400 30 J.Baraslov 203 31 D.A.Malkovich 277 32 B.Marchand 308 I must say that I'm very impressed with the GM’s around the league. I expect there to be far more “busts” or wasted picks, commendations to The GM's in this legeue. As we can see M.Callaway is very very very far from a bust, But just looking at TPE he might not be the number one pick in a redraft. Medal for the highest TPE in the draft so far goes to 5th pick J.stone. The difference between them is 151 TPE, a big gap. 4 GM’s passed on him so maybe the potential was well hidden. Might one say he was FISTED ANALLY BY A CIRCUS MONKEY? DA DA DA! I don’t think so to be honest he was picked a few spots too low but nothing major and maybe one or two GM’s should feel some regret but it’s not like they walked away with nothing All players in the top are very good players in their own right. Both Players and GM's should feel proud of their accomplishments Lets re-rank them based on TPE: Top Ten! Drafted: Name: Total TPE Ranked after TPE 5 J.Stone 930 1 2 S.Analfist 830 2 3 B..Bob 794 3 1 M.Callaway 779 4 4 J.Davis 747 5 10 M.Dilson 740 6 7 L.Slater 693 7 6 M.Stauffer 689 8 8 F.Mancini 671 9 9 O.Lazaro 605 10 I wouldn’t say there are any real snubbs in the top 10. All players originally selected in the first ten spots still go within the top ten Although in a slightly different order And no one outside this first group has yet made it to 600 TPE. J.stone rose 4 spots which won’t even put him top3 on the list. Picks 11-20 Drafted: Name: Total TPE Ranked after TPE 13 N.Andersson 585 11 11 G.Mckeggegger 569 12 14 R.wheeler 546 13 20 T.Yvel 502 14 12 L.Gaming 493 15 25 J.williams 486 16 END OF FIRST ROUND 16 M.Rice 480 17 15 D.turtle 425 18 29 B.Bjornabjorkson 400 19 27 T.Dew 363 20 Here we start to see some real movement. Jumping 6 spots from 20 to 14 is me: Tord Yvel. Not a whole lot but some Gm’s might need to rethink their drafting. Or not, most would say that this far into the draft it’s mostly luck. In this group we have two of the biggest snubbs though J. Williams who climbed 9 spots, From 25 to 16 real solid pick with a chance to make some real damage in the VHL Something you don’t see left on the board as late as 25 in many drafts. Top climber B.Bjornabjorkson has picked up enough TPE to be ranked 10(!) spots ahead of his original draft-spot from 29 to 19. Something I was very surprised to see when the draft was concluded I thought for sure he would be picked way higher than at 29. I strongly feel that there is a story here. Maybe he wouldn’t play for some teams and had been outspoken about it? Maybe he yelled at some GM’s dogs at the park? Maybe he cut some scouts of at the highway? Did he spit in someone's beer? Was he caught curling into a little ball and calling himself an orange? Maybe, Maybe not? I certainly don’t know but it’s clear that he was drafted too late. 21-32 Drafted: Name: Total TPE Ranked after TPE 21 E.s.Dudzinska 354 21 22 O.Gauthier 349 22 32 B.Marchand 308 23 18 A.Deluca 294 24 31 D.A.Malkovich 277 25 28 D.Mcilrath 263 26 17 M.Bigmac 246 27 26 D.C.Lll 223 28 30 J.Baraslov 203 29 23 S.Romanov 154 30 19 A.Tsujimoto 151 31 24 F.Lewkowicz 148 32 In this group there really only is one climber B.Marchand who climbed 9 spots. But this far down I don't think the GM’s are really that troubled. I mean 308 TPE is definitely nothing to sneeze at and it’s a good job getting there. But does it scream Franchise changing? Not really Although i really want to stress that it’s a marathon and not a sprint. Maybe one of these guys will go on to the hall of fame, You never know! and Role players are the meat on any team worthy of the Cup. Anyway, B.Marchand takes 3rd place on our most FISTED ANALLY BY A CIRCUS MONKEY list and will be interesting to follow and see if he can climb some more on this list. He could end up as the steal of the draft in a few seasons. So after some ramblings and reviewing the time has come to present the top three FISTED ANALLY BY A CIRCUS MONKEY players of the s88 and to crown a FISTED ANALLY BY A CIRCUS MONKEY-Champ. In third place………….. Second place belongs tooooo………….. And now for the first place on the FISTED ANALLY BY A CIRCUS MONKEY List forever (Or at least until someone else take a look at this further down the line) “Possibly Analfisted but Defenitly FISTED ANALLY BY A CIRCUS MONKEY-Champ of ‘88” ; In FIIIIIIIIIRRRRRRRRRSSSSSSSST PLACE VHL’S OWN WITH THE IMPOSSIBLE NAME ALL THE WAY FROM DEEPEST SWEDEN ~1240 words will use for week endings 24/9 1/10 (edited cus wrong week endings)

1. Which restaurant would you choose for a team dinner? Hmm, Tough one. Beer must be served. Probably some local restaurant. 2. What’s your favourite season in the year? I love the fall, everything about it feels comfy and it ain’t cold or hot it’s just perfect for me. Living in Sweden i despise the fall, Winter and darkness is coming. The happy people that the summer brought will go away for roughly 7 months. So my answer is Spring. As you said, Not to hot not to cold. People are cheering up again and you meet the neighbors again. The promise of summer coming and long nights without darkness with friends soon to arrive. You start making plans for the summer and everything lays ahead. Can you tell i suffer from winter-depressions? 3. What’s one thing you’d like to change about yourself as a person? I would like to loose some weight is the obvious answer and one i will give. But most i wish i was more patient with my kids, Sometimes my temper is burning at both ends and i can overreact. Something i'm working on. 1.Do you have any siblings? 2. How about Pets? 3. Dream-pet? if you can choose any animal without consequences?

Journey: VHLM: Saskatoon Wilds (Drafted No.5 s88) VHLE: Geneva Rusch (Drafted No.20 s88 Traded from) Istanbul Red Wolves (Traded to for Tullemore Dew, S90 COL 3rd (Axle Gunner) VHL: New York Americans (Drafted No.20 s88) I started out in Saskatoon Wilds with a stable rookie season. Our GM left us hanging half way through and it was kind of a mess. But I met some good guys and had fun playing together. Then I was prepared to move on to VHLE and Geneva Rusch But when I came home from a family trip I noticed I had been traded. Rumor has it that there were a few teams interested but due to my unavailability passed on the opportunity. Now I would be loyal and probably like whichever destination came my way but I'm really happy that it was the Istanbul Red Wolves. My time there really prepared me for VHL and I met a lot of good people. Wonderful staff, Coaches, GM/AGM and teammates. But alas, All good things must come to an end and after our run to the finals the franchise folded. A sad moment but it made up my mind. I had been thinking of staying back a year even though I had the TPE to make the jump but I really liked Istanbul. Now I had apparently already spent too much TPE to stand back but I didn't know that when my decision was made for me. and that brings us to The VHL and New York Americans. When I was drafted by The Americans I didn't know much about them to be honest. I’ve always Dreamt of visiting New York but I hadn't even thought about playing hockey over there. Right after the draft someone reached out to me, Can’t remember who but we had a conversation that left me feeling that this was gonna be great. Last season The Americans just sneaked into the playoffs and at first I thought we we’re gonna go for it from now on But a rebuild is coming and it may take some time. But that is no problem for me, it might even benefit me. Most teams already have their #1 D-man and probably their second and third too leave maybe a fourth spot open on the second pair with minimal Power play time. On a rebuilding team like the Americans I'm among the top D-men. Getting plenty of ice time in every situation. Something I feel I really have done well with. In my rookie season i’m on the top-10 boards for Shots Blocked(9) Minutes Played (7) and sixth in the Rookie Scoring race, Outpaced by only 2 other D-men. That is much better than I expected before the season. Especially since my goal hasn’t been to put up points but to be a two-way defender with focus on defense. Because of that I’m awfully proud to be on the top-10 of shots blocked. Right where I want to be. All in all this might not be a rookie season for others to remember or something to bang on the big drum for but I will always remember it as a fun and satisfying rookie campaign, Something I'm proud of. ~540 words

Real guud! and i can confirm that Tord Yvel agrees
-
1. How is your season go so far compared to your expectations? As a team it goes as bad as you would've thought, Individually: it goes great, Much better than i thought. 2. What team (in any league/conference) that is currently outside of a playoff position do you think will end up in the playoffs? Helsinki Titans. 3. What is a song that always makes you clap? The intro to "Freinds", If you don't clap to that you're a monster. 1.What's for dinner today? 2. In what year of school did you have the most fun? 3. If you could add 10 to any stat this year, what would it be?(Goals, Ass, +/- etc)

First of the season as a Rookie! Just gotta show em early! :D:D
-
Tord Yvels first ~25 games in the VHL has come and gone Let's stop by and talk to Tord about how the first ¼ of the season has looked. -Leading the Americans in scoring is certainly a surprise that no one had on their Bingo-card for S90. How did that happen and how does it feel? Tord: It feels absolutely fantastic! I couldn’t dream of a better start to the season. To be honest I had hoped for maybe 0,25 points per game for the season which i already hit. So everything from now on is just a bonus. As to how? Man i don’t know, i just stick to my training, try to eat right and listen to what my coaches have to say, They are pretty smart people. I must send a thank you to the coaches and management for believing in me and giving me the minutes and their trust In your path getting here you have been profiled more as a defensive-type of defenseman Are you skipping those plans and just gonna be a wild rover from now on? What can we expect in the future? Tord: I will be the first to tell you Defense is my main focus. I Believe everything starts in the defensive zone and if you do things right the points will follow. Now I'm a -10 on the season and that is something I really want to change But this team isn’t ready to compete yet and to be + on a team in the lower half is hard so i just gotta keep trying. In the future I believe my points might drop a bit. Next season I think we have some prospects ready to come in and take over that part of the game. I will try to be their safetynet on the backend, spreading calm and insulating them from mistakes being too costly. All eyes in the media are on the Rookie Race some of them are believing that you have a shot as rookie of the year. Do you think so and do you keep track of your fellow noobs? Tord: That would be insane, I don’t even dare to dream about such a coveted prize. I have no clue how the winner is being selected. But i think this far i think i atleast have forced the people to take a look at me Probably not a winner but who knows right? yeah i look at the rookie-race first thing in the mornings and to say i’m proud of sharing third place with high end players like Mark Callaway and Jeff Lewis would be an understatement. Second Defender behind Bobby Bob, Yes please and thank you. Sometimes I think this is all a dream. Lastly, Americans have bounced back after an awful start to the season (Something like 1-10-1) Do you have a shot at sneaking into the playoffs? Where do you believe you are as a team this season? Tord: I sadly don’t think we will get all the way there, I don’t think we will be as bad as we showed thus far but playoffs this year feels kinda far away. We will certainly try and the teams facing us won’t get anything without a fight. I Think we will be better next year. As I said before, We got some real good guys coming up next season and some good guys already in place. Getting a high draft pick this season to come in and boost us in a few seasons when we are ready to compete or sell to fasttrack the rebuild is paramount this season. I think we will reach the playoffs as soon as next year. Watch out for The Americans in the future I believe this leadership-group is building something special.

Fun read, Keep up the good work
