  4. @Beaviss pick someone else please, Digital retired, his mistake so other picks are valid but he is up.
  5. I said I was 90% retiring but maybe I could be convinced to stay if it was the right GM. But on of my guys says he's not staying if I retire my goalie so it's more 50/50. I'd much rather not have a goalie but I may have to
  6. Just want to let the mercs GM know that I do have over 300 TPE with Stopko if they want a good number one goalie
  7. Player InformationFull Name: Norris StopkoPosition: GJersey Number: 1Height (inches): 6'8"Weight (lbs.): 220 lbs Birthplace: Red Deer, Alberta, Canada Monstrous Vasteras Iron Eagles draft pick and rookie goaltender Norris Stopko is ready to start his first Victory Hockey League season off with a bang and despite it being a young team that he will be playing with and hurting his stats he is excited to bring this lowly team back to greatness. The Iron Eagles had a great draft this season and here we will look at the pro's and con's of the newest goaltender rookie. Player Review Pros Rebound Control: If Stopko does one thing right it's that he has control over the puck. Stopko has let loose the least amount of rebounds in the history of the Victory Hockey League Minors. It's something of a pride thing with Stopko although the skill is there and if he can keep these pucks under wraps and be this big in the net I'm sure he'll have success. Size: At six foot eight and two hundred and twenty pounds, Stopko is one of the largest goaltenders to ever play in the Victory Hockey League. He can't skate, he can't score but man does he fill out a net. Not the man you want to mess with at this size. We may even see some fights in this rookies future. Work Ethic: Sleep, practice, gym, sleep, practice, gym is all this guy ever does. Stopko wants to take home trophies and break records. The only way he knows how, to just plain outwork his competition. At the rate this kid is improving he'll be a starter in the pro's very soon. It's Stopko' lead by example attitude that has been ingrained in the young man since childhood that keep him working harder than anyone else on any team he has ever played for. Cons Penalty Shot: Stopko has a very poor penalty shot record and it is an attribute he has not even seemed to want to work on. I am sure that as his pro career improves he can also improve this record but it doesn't seem to be something that will take a while and maybe something the young goaltender learns as he goes. Discipline: A goalie is not generally someone you associate with fighting and taking penalties but Stopko has proven to love the Ron Hextall way. Hacking, slashing and fighting his way to the big leagues is something the young goaltender hasn't just done to make his way it is something he has embraced. It looks like Stopko may be bringing this part of his game to the pro league. Skating: A goalie isn't generally known for being the fastest skater on the ice but at the same time most can make it across their crease. Stopko has a very hard time with his skating and it shows. The young star vows to work very hard to get this issue resolved but as it stands right now he does look horrible.
  8. @Bring Back Chat @KGR Both up
  9. Player Information Username: @BushitoFull Name: Jasper CanmorePosition: CenterJersey Number: 15Height (inches): 80Weight (lbs.): 250Birthplace: Edmonton Alberta Monstrous Oslo Storm center Jasper Canmore is looking to be the next power forward of the VHL and here is a bit about the young man. Too bad for the rest of the general managers that this young stud is already the property of the Vasteras Iron Eagles. Player Review Pros Skating: Canmore was once one of the best skaters in the Western Hockey League. It remains to be seen whether or not he can be one of the best in the VHLM or not yet but he has the scouts talking with his early workouts in the league thus far. With Canmore's size and his long stride it's no wonder he can cover the ice at such great speeds. Size: At six foot eight and two hundred and fifty pounds, Canmore is one large intimidating force when it comes to even the power forwards of the league. He can skate, he can score but it it his bruising size that has most opponents shaking in their skates. Not the man you want to fight with in the VHLM, Canmore already has a reputation of being one of the toughest customers in this league. Work Ethic: Sleep, practice, gym, sleep, practice, gym is all this guy ever does. Canmore wants to take home trophies and break records. The only way he knows how, to just plain outwork his competition. At the rate this kid is improving he'll be a starter in the pro's very soon. It's Canmores lead by example attitude that has been ingrained in the young man since childhood that keep him working harder than anyone else on any team he has ever played for. Cons Discipline: Canmore has always had a temper and it has got the best of him on many occasions. While this is an area of the youngsters game that is improving, he still has the tendency to fly off the handle when protecting team mates. Nobody will forget Canmore "ACCIDENTALLY" punching a linesman in his Western Hockey League days. Defense: You'd thing with the size, reach and stride of Canmore he would be a great defensive forward. It's not for a lack of trying as the big man has been making the moves to become a great power forward in the league. The training to become an effective power forward in the league does take time and the defensive game is a big part of that, look for Canmore to be one of the better defensive forwards come his professional days. Face Off: As a center you'd think Canmore would be more focused on his face off ability but in the juniors he seems to think it is an attribute that he doesn't quite need to hone in and perfect yet and something that can be worked on as the season goes on. While it may hurt his team to start the season it should be fine as the season progresses and Canmore figures out his training regimen.

  18. First thing, ADV didn't offer him a contract extension prior to UFA so he should be a UFA Not an RFA. In order to retain his RFA status the team needs to offer him an extension prior to the start of UFA
  19. Because thats the order your name came up in the sign ups, and it's your pick x2 as well
