  9. TRIPLETS PROVIDE DEPTH FOR ACES By Raoul Duke Beset by the startling reality that the Yukon Rush look like world-beaters, the Vegas Aces management made one late move on deadline day. So late, in fact, that they had to secure a favorable ruling from the league office in order to complete it. Sending out six players and two draft picks, Vegas acquired a brand new forward line to add to their lineup. The Vilhjálmsson triplets, as they are known, comprise of center Jóhannes and wingers Jakub and Jonas. They were certainly a bright spot for the last-place Ottawa Lynx in their first season in the league, but couldn't propel their previous squad up the standings. The triplets were a late addition to this season's roster, as they were signed after the VHLM Entry Draft. Their performance in Vegas has been exactly what was asked. Provide depth scoring, and display that chemistry that has been a calling card in their young careers. In just ten games for the Aces, the triplets have combined for fifteen goals and twenty-six assists- that's forty-one points. It's been an impressive start in the desert for these three. There were some concerns when the trade was announced that Vegas would provide an unforgiving environment for three young men with known predilections for pubs and merriment. The trio are all nineteen years of age, meaning they were "of age" in Canada (and their native Iceland, though they were not of age to purchase in the latter). In Vegas, of course, the drinking age is 21. Nevertheless, the trio have kept their noses clean, and they've got the Aces thinking they might have something up their sleeve as we approach the playoffs.
  10. 1. Have to probably share apartment with these two. Was just going to get my own place. No fair. 2. We do fine. We are team players, if other good forwards on team, we get easier matchups anyway. 3. We are not 21, so most things we can not do. But. I love golf. I am very bad, but they have nice weather. Good to walk around, hear birds. 4. We are not 21. But I am sure I will be getting Jonas out of trouble at least once. He never listen to, ah...authority figurine? Figure. Authority figure.
  11. 1. What's the biggest single reason the Legion have been so dominant this season? 2. Why will your regular season success translate to playoff success? 3. If there's one player out there that could derail your run, it's Rhett DeGrath. Do you think you can break him down in a Cup Final? 4. Is this just the beginning? Or are you all-in on this season? 5. Lastly, for management: What are the most important things you look for in talent acquisition?
