  1. I got my haircut, what do you think I got done? I'm trying to sell old video games on craigslist but no one is biting even though the prices are well below others on craigslist, what should I do?
  2. Just the WHL team, I switch it up every time.
  3. Brampton is not going to be in the VHLM Playoffs this year but it is alright. Whether Markus King comes back next year is still up in the air and largely dependant on the VHLM Dispersal Draft and where teams value him as a goaltender/cornerstone for their run next year. Brampton has some pieces and some draft picks to allow themselves a shot next year of competing. In the meantime King has stated he will be travelling around scouting different VHLM Teams players during the postseason to ensure he knows their tendencies and can react on penalty shots. King is a student of the game and a student who seems to see the game very well, react and study opponents on the fly. So if you see a tall young man sitting in your stands rocking his Regina Pats track pants and Prairies shirt, you indeed are looking at a goaltender ready to take the VHLM by storm next season!
  4. Yeah
  5. Rubbish
  6. We going to make sure you lift the cup!
  7. i TAGGED THE WRONG PERSON
  8. For the second straight season Tyson Kohler has hit the century mark for points. Kohler wasn't much of a productive player in his days with the Cologne Express and his switch of gears in Calgary has sparked a few peoples interest. Now with 430 points in his career and well on his way to maybe grabbing the 700 point plateau for his career, Kohler turns his attention back to his original goal; to win a title. With Calgary set to battle the New York Americans in the first round of the VHL Playoffs for the North American conference; Kohler is ready to start another playoff battle to have a chance at a Continental Cup. With the luckily winner of the cup coming from the North American conference, the Wranglers do feel with great goaltending they can at least contend with the other two teams in front of them on the North American stage. Kohler will need to help his teammates (who has all had some very big years) in capturing that cup and potting goals would be Kohler's biggest specialty.
  9. @Smarch *For Kohler
  10. No mine was just talk entered around how leaving your roster for a full season isn't a bad thing.
  11. I am in!
  12. I just don't see the case for it being dirty. The person to blame for Laine's concussion is a lateral pass in the no-no zone where defenders step up or back off. McCabe stepped up and got him.
  13. Also, I'm sorry Paul Maurice but the Laine hit is clean.
  14. Is Patrick Maroon becoming's McDavid's Chris Kunitz (ala to Crosby)?
  15. I know he has put in some work at the gym. Plus if I recall he likes to bike trails which works your calves as well
  16. Updated: We went from 666 followers to 777 in about a month and gained a member (who may or may not stick around). We've had some DM's about people asking about the forum as well so we'll see where that ends up. Just trying to branch out and gain some exposure
  17. Can he? What sort of statistics can you base that around? His 0 career goals? I mean I'll be honest it's not that bad but it doesn't look like a high number. I thin I would agree that WD has been very sloppy, but I can't agree about Rodin. He was drafted in 2009 and has literally not had his SHL career translate into anything overseas (aka here). Even his AHL numbers are subpar for a "guy known for offensive abilities". I think you kind of just like the look of him out there and didn't really look into his actual abilities. Corey Locke had great offensive abilities as well, but go look at his statistics on google and tell me what you think.
  18. Wait, you got a selfie from Brovy as well?
  19. No worries. I think coupled with a very silly proposal by a welfare claiming member about second players, it sort of pisses me off when success is given by this sim to people who just sort of let it slip away. I more than anyone want people to stay in the VHL and have fun, but when it comes to success you'd expect the STHS to notice a player putting in active work over another. But then again after 52 season the STHS remains a bit of a mystery.
  20. Yeah but I mean regardless of how you do it, you're getting carryover and it just means you have to wait until Ironside retires to acquire carryover on the next "2nd" player of yours. You just treat it as a newly created prospect.
  21. About who's character? I think highly of you and several of your players. You re the one with the character comment. When it comes to the sim, your team has had success with inactives. I'm sorry if you feel like the comment is always about you, but it seems the sim has rewarded some of the inactives in it and you've carried a bunch over the years. It's not just me, when inactives score a ton of get a bulk of the success in the STHS it sucks for those who actually put in work. Take Bushido for example, he built a player before going inactive that even into regression was potting 50 goals a season. It sucks.
  22. Yeah but if Ironside was to get Parechkin's carryover (impossible considering Parechkin hasn't retired yet) then your next create would be at 30 TPE. You're effectively just making it complicated at that stage haha
  23. Good, it's his article after all haha.
  24. I'm so confused how this turned into a debate, I thought this was one of the easiest things to understand about the two-player system. @DollarAndADream I blame you and no longer endorse you to be a GM
