  2. wtf.. i was also promoting Team Sweden.. so do i have a boner for Sweden now?
  3. Should KJA go Team USA or Team World?? hmmmm...
  4. A Russian delegation with all Russians, and the rest just unnamed players. Sure we might not win, but at least it is national pride and not lumped in with a bunch of countries. So what we lose? Its all about fun! And playing for Team Russia would accomplish both
  5. IDEA (credit goes to fever): Team USSR! combination of all the players of the countries that were in the USSR before the USSR's collapse!
  6. I think it would be beneficial to still have a chart of the number of players of each nationality in the create-a-player section. That way when someone is creating/recreating, they can see: Oh there is 30 canadians, 4 swedes, and 3 Russians. Maybe I should make my player a swede or Russian..
  7. smh... so many uncreative people we need more diversity.. like what about a quota? when someone makes a player, they can view a list of how many of each nationality are already in the league.. that could help.
  8. Long live the motherland! Long live the motherland! Long live the motherland! Long live the motherland! Long live the motherland! Long live the motherland! Long live the motherland! Long live the motherland!
  9. Sport events is a time of peace for countries. Though I agree with you on that point, large sporting events like the Olympics and the World Cup should be met with peace between all nations for the sake of competition. Therefore Russia still should be allowed to participate in their own separate delegation.
  10. Still.. Russia is considered a top team along with Canada and USA.. its wrong to lump them in with a bunch of smaller nations, even if they do not have a ton of people. Have fillers? Russia should still have their own delegation. It is just wrong for them not to. Dont yall feel that way? And for the players of smaller countries.. lump them in with Team Mercenaries are something.. But Russia should be represented independently.
  11. So I was thinking of what to write for a Fan, but I had no ideas. Then I saw there was an application for World Cup GM, and of course I signed up for Team Russia. But GUESS WHAT?! THERE WILL BE NO TEAM RUSSIA! DO YOU KNOW WHY? BECAUSE THERE IS NOT ENOUGH RUSSIANS IN THE D*** LEAGUE! WHAT IS GOING ON? THE MOTHERLAND UNDERREPRESENTED IN AN INTERNATIONAL ICE HOCKEY LEAGUE?! THIS IS COMPLETE BULLSH*T! I DEMAND THAT THERE BE AN INCREASE IN RUSSIAN PARTICIPATION IN THIS LEAGUE! OUR COMRADES SHOULD NOT BE FORCED TO PLAY ALONGSIDE BRAZILIANS AND ASIANS! DO BRAZILIANS AND ASIANS EVEN KNOW WHAT ICE HOCKEY IS??? OUR COMRADES SHOULD BE FIGHTING TOGETHER AS ONE UNDER THE MOTHERLAND’S FLAG! NOT UNDER SOME “TEAM WORLD” FLAG!!! SO ALL OF YOU WHO ARE READING THIS! GET MORE RUSSIANS IN THIS LEAGUE! WE DO NOT NEED ANYMORE CANADIANS OR AMERICANS! BRING GLORY TO THE MOTHERLAND! Да здравствует Родина! Да здравствует Родина! Да здравствует Родина! Да здравствует Родина! Да здравствует Родина! Да здравствует Родина! Да здравствует Родина! 13. Russia doesnt get its own delegation.. wtf is this shit.. PROTEST! PROTEST!
  14. It has been a long time since we have sat down to talk with Mr. Azhishchenkov. According to rumors, KJA has not been on good terms with his Yukon Rush GM. This is a result of his outside life affecting his work ethic. In one of our past articles, we talked about the possibility that KJA may be losing the title of “superstar” as a result of his practice hours dropping. So far in the past 3 weeks we have seen KJA only reach 13/24 practice hours. Not something that Riga Reign GM and Yukon Rush GM should be too happy about considering the fact that in KJA’s first season he was consistently getting 7/8 practice hours a week. Fortunately for us, we were able to sit down with this fading superstar to see what is going on and if his future career is now in jeopardy. Hello Mr. Azhishchenkov, thank you for joining us. How are you doing? Thanks, D3vs, you can just call me KJA if you wish. I am really happy to be here after so long. I am doing fine, but I have been really busy. We could tell simply based off the rumors. Would you care to confirm any of these rumors? Sure. The fans of both Riga, Yukon, and personal fans deserve to know why I have been “slacking” according to a bunch of critics. Though I have kept this a secret, I will now disclose it. I have enrolled in night school to get a degree in business management. Many would question what my motives are in trying to get a degree when I have such a promising future in hockey. However, I believe that there is a life after hockey and you never know when a career can be cut short. Unfortunately, I did not think that my pursuance of a degree would affect my practice hours with Yukon. Of course my first dedication is to Yukon and Riga, but I also wanted to get a degree while I am still young because at 19 years old, I do not have to worry about having a family. I did have a talk with Mr. Gow about my practice hours dropping, but he understood that it is important to pursue a degree and get an education, but he wants to make sure that my hockey growth is not being effected as a result. I totally understand his viewpoint, and I hope to be able to increase my practice hours. Wow. It is really great to see such a young man take the initiative in dealing with his future. I think critics will be able to understand the lack of practice hours more. So what is the plan after Yukon? You currently have about 186 practice hours, and will easily be over 200 practice hours by season end. What role will you be playing in Riga? Thank you D3vs. I hope people will begin to understand and forgive me for my lack of practice hours given the fact that I am trying to help my future when I am still young, but I should be back at my normal practice hour production in a week or two when finals are over. I have talked to GM Mike, and he has said my role as changed. As a result of a Trade Deadline acquisition, I will be most likely slotted in as a 3rd line center or a top 6 winger. This is actually okay with me, even though I was slotted as the 2nd line center before season start, as it will be my first season in the VHL and I will simply have to prove that I deserve the 2nd line center role, if not a greater role. Well as a result of your extremely long responses, we do not have more time. Thanks for talking to us KJA, and we hope to see you improve on your practice hours and receive that degree! Thanks again D3vs. I have worked really hard to get to the place I am in now, and I am not going to give it up easily. I want to be a number 1 center in the VHL and I will not stop until I achieve that goal. To any concerned fans, do not worry, here is the resurgence of Konstantin Jaroslav Azhishchenkov. Thank you for those words KJA, well good day everyone! (Sidenote: I really need to model my player after a Russian and not a Swede/Austrian... lol)
  15. Username and Playername: Username d3vilsfire, player Konstantin Jaroslav Azhishchenkov What Team Do You Want To GM?:** Родина, Россия! (The Motherland, Russia!) Previous GM Experience?: Ex-Assistant GM of the Yukon Rush, Current GM of the MOSCOW Red Wolves Why do you want to be a GM?: I would like to continue my support of Russia in VHL. My player is Russian, and the team I GM (and relocated from Vasteras) is located in the capital of Russia. KJA and I want to lead Russia to the gold! I really like GMing, and being a GM for the motherland would be a huge honor! **Note: It does not seem like Russia has their own delegation, so I apply for Team World, but I will continue to protest.
  16. Seems really cool, and I would like to volunteer my services. Id probably have to double with someone as i am inexperienced. Anyone wanna double with me?
  17. No mention? Alright harley. And great ending.. loser
  18. Tonight in Riga we have news about a possible fight that occurred at a local bar that involved members of a local biker gang and two Riga Reign players. "There was a lot of yelling and shouting," said a bar patron, "And then all of a sudden a brawl was started." In the midst of the battle was enraged Robert Gow III. According to sources, KJA was visiting Riga before the VHLM playoffs and decided to spend the day with RG3, one of KJA's favorite players on Riga. Apparently at the bar, one of the local bikers was being rude to a female patron and KJA stepped in to defend the woman. The drunk biker swung at KJA, missed, and was flattened by RG3. RG3 went through a rampage in the bar beating up all the bikers while KJA desperately tried to break up the fights while defending the victim. Surprisingly, only the bikers were hurt and there was not any extreme damage to the bar. RG3 was arrested following the arrival of the police but was released after witness accounts from the bar patrons demonstrated his innocence. This is definitely an interesting news story as seeing pro athletes getting into fights at bars is more for the diva NFL than ice hockey. Luckily there is no plan for suspension for either KJA or RG3 and apparently they have been given free drinks at the bar for life.
  19. Since joining the league with the Ottawa Lynx in Season 36, Konstantin Azhishchenkov has been a humble star that has led his team in leadership and overall production. However, has his fame gotten to his head? At the end of Season 36, KJA was reported to be talking with famed Australian youth track star, Michelle Jenneke. According to sources, he is indeed in a relationship with the Aussie and was spotted going skating with her, which she asked him to do in a separate interview. As a result, we have seen KJA's number of practice hours drastically drop. Last week we saw the player only practice 3 hours out of a possible 8 hours of practice, and this week its reported that he will have about 4-7 practice hours out of a possible 8 hours of practice. Why the sudden drop in production? "Jenneke and I have spent a lot of time out in the town," said KJA, "I have talked to GM and he has said that as long as I continue to get practice hours in that I should be good, but I should watch out about distractions." Michelle Jenneke also commented on her possible status change and the effects it will have on the young star. “I really like Azi (KJA),” said Jenneke, “he is a really kind guy with a big heart, and is really dedicated to ice hockey.” Though his practice hours have suffered, KJA’s overall production is not the slightest bit down. In his first full 72 game season, KJA had 118 points (50 goals and 68 assists) this season, which was good for 3rd on Yukon. This production has not gone unnoticed by parent team, Riga Reign. “I recently talked to KJA,” said GM Mike, “and he will definitely be in Riga next season, just have to find a spot for him on the roster. Haha.” So has KJA moved away from his humble self? In recent news, it was rumored that KJA has signed a sponsorship with German car company, Audi. Though this may seem to be a stretch, KJA was seen spotted driving a beautiful Audi R8 throughout Yukon with Michelle Jenneke. There is no way at this point in his career KJA would be able to afford such a nice and expensive car, so this must be directly related to the sponsorship. So would his new girlfriend, drop in practice hours, and new car mean he is moving away from his humble self? "No, I do not think he is moving away from the person that we all loved. He simply is just living life and soon we will see the old KJA back," said GM Austin Gow, "especially since playoffs are going to start soon, KJA’s dedication to the best sport in the world is of the utmost importance." We will have to wait and see if KJA stays on the shy path or takes on the spot light.
  20. KJA claims! Thanks for the free TPE and happy bday to me!

  22. I cant believe im posting on this since i promised myself i would never do this... But between travellin, school, and a new girl i forgot to write my ms.. Im gonna try to finish it, but just in case.. I claim 2Tpe for kja
  23. Alright.. so if you guys know me, i do not try to pick sides on arguments like this, but I gonna speak up on this.. WTF DT? Im in EST, and sure there are many people who are in EST, but Jardy should not have to cater towards everyone. Especially with the internet at our fingertips. As long as Jardy says which timezone he is posting in, that should be fine because we can then tell what time zone it is in. Also, from what I read, even if you thought TD was in EST, then u were still way past TD.. so i really do not see what you are fighting besides the fact that you are just raging to rage and are just having fun now at others expenses. I had a lot of respect for you even after our Draft Trade fell through, but now you kinda have lost it.
  24. Though I am a huge fan of Draper's and he knows it, i feel like it would be beneficial for him to gain experience as an Assistant first. And trust me, from experience, you at least want half a season as an assistant before you make the leap to full GM. However, I believe Draper learns really quickly and definitely deserves a GM job at some point.
