With our recent addition of trivia to the portal, we are in need of someone to handle managing the question pool and adding new entries each season. This job will have a bit of work upfront (reviewing all the submissions and old questions we've had) but after that will likely be only a couple of weeks of work per season. As this is brand new and we're still figuring things out, pay will be flexible based on workload for the time being. After the initial setup the job will probably be restricted to a couple of weeks of pay per season. Season 81 Experience Points Forgive me for copying last season's post exactly. Even the example Congratulations to everyone for the completion of another successful VHL season, as well as to the Vancouver Wolves for taking home the Continental Cup. As always, with the season past, all VHL players have earned some more experience. How to Claim Claim experience in the Player Management area by clicking the 'CLAIM UNCAPPED' button and selecting Experience from the dropdown. Enter the amount of Experience you are eligible for as described below and link to this thread.  Once approved, the Experience will be added directly to your player's experience attribute. You do not need to apply it yourself.  NOTE: YOU CAN NOT CARRY OVER EXPERIENCE POINTS EARNED BY A RETIRED PLAYER ONTO A RECREATE  POINTS Full VHL Season - 5 Points Partial VHL Season - 2 points (Less than 72 GP in VHL, unless due to a trade) Playoffs - 2 Points Finals - 1 Point Example: Corey Kitson played for Vancouver. We are looking for someone to take over for Victor as VHL Financier. The Financier is responsible for validating all VHL team finances in the off-season and also reviewing all trades for validity throughout the season. A successful candidate should have a strong understanding of the salary cap, contract rules, and trade rules. This job can have a high workload in the off-season and will require more availability during that time. The pay is 2 TPE / week from the finance cutoff until the trade deadline each season. Happy Tuesday everyone, As the last few payments are trickling in and we prepare to make our donations to the The Red Cross (both Canada and US), I wanted to give everyone an update on how well we did this holiday drive! This year the community donation we managed to raise was $3150, with $1820 coming from donations to the league PayPal and a staggering $1330 coming from direct donations. (As many direct donations were made in USD I kept track and converted it all to CAD to calculate our total). With the $500 contribution from the league, our total contribution comes to $3650 CAD! The balance of $2320 will be split evenly and donated to The Red Cross later this week. Now rewards!
