I got Aky and Bynum to rejoin the league and become active again. Sadly Bynum had IRL stuff stop him continuing this.

 

Trade with Houston for Queefson and Trey Jones and Karl Herzlich.

 

Turned Kopecky and others into better earners and offered great guidance to my players. Also had one of the most active LRs most of the season which I believe is a big part of the job.

Cole, he consistently builds competitive teams that go deep and I've heard nothing but good things from former players of his

Queefson, all-around playmaker who stepped up to block a fuck ton of shots and stayed out of the box

If I can vote for an outside candidate, Pope Francis (D) on HFX no doubt, dude was legit the only dman on the team for 80% of the season and still balled out and was honestly the only reason HFX made the playoffs

Gauthier, just so dominant from start to finish and leads in every stat

Francis, he put up video game stats with a literal bot as his D-partner for 80% of the season

Sansoe, great point totals, plenty of physical play, leads in SB, and stays out of the box

Unfortunately my player is not Shawn Gretzky

It's not a bad idea, but it would more than likely create less parody, and we'd see a lot more teams go back-to-back just keeping the same roster. I do like the idea however, the only way I can see it not being effective is a lot of the time, teams will pick a previous waiver addition in the draft anyways, so the teams that don't get a lot of waivers end up with the same players anyways.

The bracket system is also nice, but I think the ranges are a little too high, it's overpowered to have someone at 149 tpe and only spend a third on them when a player like that would be a 1st rounder if they're active. And It's honestly only a matter of time until someone abuses that and tells the member to not claim in order to keep a higher draft pick

Honestly I'd be interested to see how this works in a real scenario

I'm confused, why is there such a big drop off from 3 to 4? Does this only take goal differential into account?

Either way, I picked Saskatoon when I joined. Didn't care about the logo, didn't know anyone and didn't check the standings.  I lived in Saskatoon before so I joined, despite all the comments about how crappy Saskatchewan is and how I should have joined other teams.  I've not witnessed any straight up malicious attempts to sway a waiver but I have witnessed plenty of team trash talk.  I take it as such but if it is an issue then everyone should refrain from talking down about any team.  Seems a bit much though!

It's been dealt with so I'm not trying to start anything else or really talk about it more, but that's a legitimate issue the league has. Joining the discord is appealing, but it's fucked up how you can have these 14 year old members who are trying to be "edgy" and swaying impressionable new members before GMs or anyone serious gets the chance to make a legitimate effort
