Brick Wahl 2: Electric Boogaloo

1. At this point, even if I wanted to, my draft position is pretty much set in stone. 2. I'll miss the whole team. We had a good vibe together! If I have to pick only a couple of players, I'll have to say it might take a long time before I get to share a line with a defenseman as exciting as Kastelic. He's great on both side of the ice, and truly made my job easy. But yeah, Wilinsky, Odinsson, Kriketers, Baxter, Matthews. I'll miss all these guys. 3. diamond_ace by a wide margin. He's the most experienced VHLM GM and it shows. He did so much for me and for the team as a whole. He knew what he was doing all along and brought this team together for a great, anticlimatic, championship run. I hope some day I'm as good a GM as him, and I go head to head with him for a cup or something. Then, he's not playing or GMing in the VHLM, but I cannot not mention Tagger. He does so much, from helping new members get set up to updating the draft list weekly. 4. Winning the Cup was a big one, for sure. Topping it with a 2-assist game, adding a bunch of hits and blocked shots too. That's hard to beat, for sure. 5. I'm not making any promises. I'm a loyal man, but if it just doesn't fit, I'm not gonna force it. I'll see as the time goes, I can't say for sure what my mindset will be like in 6 or 7 seasons.

@hitmess, this is where VHLM GM's will offer you a contract and you'll be allowed to choose which team you want to play for. The contract amount is set league wide at $1,500,000 and you'll accept the contract by stating which teams offer you accept in this thread. There is no rush and you will be given time to look around and speak to the GM's and such if you wish! Good luck in the decision making and your career ! Tensions rose during Team Western Europe's public practice this morning, when General Manager Joseph McWolf announced the forward lines and defensive pairings for today's practice drills. While reports from this past weekend hinted that the GM would opt for a division of the British and Irish players so that they never have to play together, he instead presented a lineup that saw players from the rival nations line up together on the ice. Threats and slurs flew freely, as most players left the ice before the very start of the practice. Few were those that seemed eager to put their differences aside for the sake of the team and the event was finally cancelled before we got to see the team in action. We were able to catch McWolf as he left the rink and gather his thoughts about this test of his. "Honestly, I was tempted to just side with Pod [Cast] and slay these heathens. But in the end, I'm the GM. The suits trusted me to bring together a team that can take on any other team in the world. If anyone's got to be the bigger man and try and unite this team, it's me right? I knew this would happen but, then again, I had to do it. Now the ball is in their camp." McWolf quickly left after his comment and has yet to return any of our subsequent calls. Podrick Cast was also approached, but he threatened our crew and refused to comment on the situation.

Hey @DucksFan64, we are really sorry we missed you in the draft. We try to never let that happen, but somehow, there's one that slips through the cracks and ends up as an undrafted free agent every other seaon. That being said, good job letting us know before it's too late, that way we can set you up on our team before the season starts. I'm the Ottawa Lynx AGM. We enter Season 63 as the defending champions. Most of our Cup-winning core will be promoted to the VHL, but we still believe we got what it takes to be competitive this season. If you sign this 1,5mil deal with us, you would start as a winger on our 3rd line, with the opportunity to quickly climb to the 2nd line. 1st line duty isn't out of the equation on the long run either, if you show us you can really get the work done more than the guys above you in the depth chart.
