Effort: 2/2 - Yep, nice effort overall. Look: 2.25/3 - Two main things that would really help here. Lighting, and text. For lighting, try making a layer set to Soft Light. Use a large soft brush and use black and white. White for areas that should be the focal, and black for areas that don't need to part of the focal. For text, just try to replicate what you like around here. Keep sticking to simple fonts, and try to let the sig do the work, not the text. Creativity: 1/1 - Interesting stock work. Total: 5.25/6

Effort: 2/2 - Yes sir, nice improvement I'm seeing out of you. Look: 2.5/3 - Lighting is a big improvement from last week. Good contrast. Text is actually quite good, if anything try making the white part of it a very light grey instead. Stock work could be better but that will come with time. As for transitioning to photoshop, feel free to PM me about anything related to it, or just make a post in the graphics/design forum. Plenty of people will love to help. The change will be worth it! Text irks me a bit, the shadow is a little cheesy, try just making a layer underneath it and doing a bit of soft black brushing...not too intense. Stock work isn't your best, the geometry should have been erased over his head, and the tree doesn't really fit. Not bad overall but you can do better. Creativity: 1/1 - Sure Total: 5.5/6

Effort: 2/2 - Stock work, text etc. It's all there. Look: 2.5/3 - Couple things that's would really help this sig. First, the text. It's decent but kind of stark, maybe a colour that matches a bit more would have helped (dark blue). Next is the contrast on the render..next time drop a Brightness & Contrast adjustment layer above the render and set it to a clipping mask so it only affects the render. Bump up the contrast on it so it pops a bit more. Creativity: 1/1 - Nice stock work and composition. Total: 5.5/6

Try to keep more of a consistent colour scheme. The blue to orange/red kinda throws it off. For the text, try to pull it in a bit closer to the render, and usually it's flows better when there's less text, maybe just a name, or at least keep it a bit more even. Effort: 2/2 - I'm seeing definite steady improvement, keep it up. Look: 2.25/3 - Bushito is right on all counts. I'll offer some advice for text though. For fonts, I tend to stick to the simplest of simple. Arial, Helvetica, and sometimes Times New Roman. That doesn't mean never use other fonts, but they're often easy to work with since they aren't distracting. Try adding a different background rectangle behind the text, instead of a border.
