  1. Bana Blabs #94 Another Blab brought to you by Talk-to-Text, an easier way to do this. Thanks, Siri. Despite your many, often simple errors. I appreciate you. You have made this easier and I wish I would have given you a try all those seasons ago! S90 VHL Index S90 VHL Playoffs S91 VHL Draft Severus Targaryen Player Page (Bana's Player) Seattle Bears Team Page Bears Discord - General. Come join the fun! That's what the VHL is all about :) Hey everyone, been awhile! Need to get back into the grind of doing my tasks... the return has just been a bit of an adjustment and we've been running around like crazy. Shortly before we returned home, we got the sad news that one of my partners parents was in the ICU on life support... We hustled up on a 6 hour drive to go visit for a few days... Fortunately, at least for now, things have improved quite a lot. Then just getting my Nissan 370z back on the road for a few months (battery was toast), getting all our phones back up and working and everything else that came with it. Tomorrow I have my first day of work at my new job. I applied to a bunch of places while in Australia and did a few interviews at 10PM, landed all 3 jobs I interviewed for and then finally made my choice. I'm heading back as a foreman in the engineering department and will be making decent money again (not quite what I was, but the role is also one below what I used to be). Nervous! I hate those awkward moments. New faces, new places... but I feel better than I used to. I put a lot of work into myself over the last couple years! With all that catching up being done, let's blab about our wonderful league. Seattle lost out of playoffs and it hurt. We faced a really great team, who have been our strong rivals for some time. It certainly sucks. We've had good rosters, but just couldn't quite go the distance. That's why we've decided to do a little bit of a transition! Yaroslav Bogatyrev mentioned something about "angry comments" after one of our deals being voided and has had some salty media come out. Literally, jokingly with a slight form of desperation too as 14th OA was on the line if they signed, I said "what the heck is it going to take?". This is after they responded to no one for days but can come out with sassy little articles. Seattle gave a lot to them and really stood by them. They never turned into the star they should have became when Seattle drafted them. Everyone had that expectation. But we're fortunate and grateful for what he did while he was here. He was awesome! It's a shame what he's doing now, not the leaving - we support that and a change of scenery so he succeeds and is fulfilled, but his whining. It is what it is though! Seattle had a crazy off-season, but we managed to transition nicely. Lots of big draft picks, trades and restocking the shelves.. and we might be able to do it all again while also still chasing after small hopes at a championship. Wouldn't be the first time we played sleeper team and pulled it off. Lots of time left for things to change. Most teams in both conferences are trying to compete.. so excited to see how this season plays out.

There could be a lot of reasons why a member might be chosen and each season an explanation will/might be given. It's a thank you. It's an appreciation of what you've done for Seattle or maybe through that the VHL. You're deserving! Maybe you've overcome something crazy in life or have kicked it up an extra notch in the VHL TPE earning department. It's a good award for good things that are good. So, what's the catch? The winner picks a charity of their choosing (I'd like to know why IF you're comfortable with sharing) and I will donate $10! I know it isn't much, but it's something.. and I mean, think of if I would have started this in Season 49. Randy Bobandy, also known by their member name as @AJW, is an absolute gem to me. He was never really part of the S67 dynasty Bears which drew a good group of us lads like Berocka, Dok, IR, Rayz, Frosty, oilmandan, etc together - but over time, with his last player and this player, he's become a VHL brother to me. He's helped huge with the team, is incredibly loyal and is always promoting activity and positive vibes in the locker room. All while tackling school and going crazy with football! The guy is awesome and is a perfect example of a Seattle Bear! Unfortunately their time with the Bears was cut short this season, but their accomplishments and efforts will never be forgotten by myself and despite them being gone, they will always be a Bear and more importantly, a VHL brother! I asked AJ, "What's a charity fund/organization that you would donate to if you could right now? and why?" over snapchat and they mentioned that they don't have any specifics and would like to help out some homeless foundation/community. Last season we went with Boyle Street in Edmonton after Tavish DeGroot (Rory) took home the first ever Spirit Bear Award! With a quick Google search, I find that Los Angeles has the highest homeless population, along with California leading the way. With that being said, I went ahead and made a $10.40 (to help cover fees) towards the Los Angeles Mission Homeless Shelter. Thank you @AJW for everything you've done for Seattle, myself and the VHL. Though... you did leave me on read

@leandrofgThank you for coming on so willingly and embracing the team like you have. You’ve been a true leader and Bear in our LR, even with you being a little busy. I had tried for some time to add you onto the team and I’m glad we finally got the chance to do a bunch of chatting and team up together. We fell short, but something tells me this isn’t good bye - just see ya later. @Alex easy talks. Thanks for meeting me half way the best you could. You know what you’re getting in Goncalves. Might be done after this season but still the 3rd highest TPA! Good luck, purple.

Wowza, an actual good blockbuster. Thank you for your times! @AJW, you’re a VHL brother to me. You know my thoughts. @Rhynex Entertainment thanks for believing in me and us. It was an absolute pleasure to have you on the team and be able to get to know you. You’re always welcome here and we’ll surely keep in touch as I do with most bears @Ricer13 thank you for the talks. Not easy on both parts to make a deal of this magnitude but I honestly believe it’s one of the fairest blockbusters of the off-season. AG returns to finish it off in CGY, and Bobandy and AJ are tanks that will surely drive some form of success. Can’t wait to beat his ass eventually in a playoff series
  16. I’m just thankful we didn’t wait 4 days to void this, right on the eve of the draft. That would have really complicated things for the managers involved lol!
