Come join the fun! That's what the VHL is all about :) Hi, VHL. New week, exciting times. Theme week and TDL are here and that's always fun. Usually pretty good things to write about which often leads to some fun reading and community activity. Busy times for myself here.. In 35 hours we hop on a plane and fly across Australia to Melbourne. We've been in Perth since March 6th and have enjoyed our time, but we're really looking forward to this next chapter. I'll get into both more in a future blab! It's been hectic though. Lining everything up. Airbnb's and flights were the obvious easier part. Cancelling all the accounts (phones, energy, internet) was pretty easy too. I think just super busy overall. Then dealing with the lease break, inspections etc. I'm really happy we're almost done. We've also been selling off all our stuff that we bought here. Just sold the Xbox! 2 more items and we're set. The rest the next tenant will take on for a price! So yeah, super busy.... but excited to head on over to the East Coast to check out Melbourne, Sydney (again), Brisbane and Cairns!! For the VHL, TDL is here and the Bears are knocking on the doors. We're looking to make a move to upgrade at forward. Strong defensive team with a great goalie. We have the assets and salary cap to make a move happen - so we will see! It'll be cool to see if anything else happens too! With that being said, let's blab. I'm really pumped to see Yaroslav Bogatyrev finding a new level this season. They're a Bear. It's that simple. It might not always be easy but it's a love no one else would understand except everyone involved in Seattle - the Management, Staff, Players, Fans etc.. It's their team. They're the longest tenured Bear. They've been here sine being drafted. It can be tough for them to struggle, but Bogatyrev has consistently improved into the star he is today. Season after season he's slowly transformed into a 2-way, elite star and he is now the fierce, powerful BOGABEAR GRIZZLY to lead the way. It's the BOGA Era for Seattle and I REALLY want this member to win a cup in Seattle. Would be a legendary story. Edmonton Oilers Syndrome - Minus the fact that Seattle D-men are actually pretty decent. There is no bonafide star that's close to a point per game, but all d-men have played consistently with good enough numbers to hold onto the blue line and help Wallob be one of the better defensive systems in the VHL today. In a smaller, concentrated roster, Seattle has a few elite players like Edmonton, followed by a minor cluster in the middle, and then a huge drop off (Diggler) which has strongly affected the success of the organization. Fortunately, unlike Edmonton, Seattle has a better defensive and goalie system. 2nd lowest goals against in the VHL. If only the team could score... Edmonton/Seattle.. My player sucks. It's been tough and sometimes I'm a prickly little cactus about it to @Zetterberg. It's weird. The build is solid. I have more sims where I get 0 points than I have sims with points. 21 points in 52 games. Lots of fun! We better win... lol

Dogecoin, Elon Musk. Seattle - The Seattle Bears VHL franchise recently held a charity fundraiser for a few homeless causes throughout Seattle. This is an event they they hold every single season. During the fundraiser, there were many ways for people and other entities to donate to the cause. There were things like auctions, a 50-50, food and beverages, games and rides and all of that magic. One of the biggest attractions, however, was that the Seattle Bears were hosting a three on three ball hockey tournament. This, of course, is naturally a four on four with the goalie. The catch was that it costed every team $500 to sign up. The winner would get 50% of the grand total split amongst the teams players and then the rest would go into the charitable pot. It actually gained a lot of traction and a lot of team signed up. What they didn’t know was that they were actually going to be playing against the Seattle Bear team. If the Seattle Bears team managed to go all the way and win the fundraiser tournament, the losing the runner-up team would only get the money that they put into the tournaments back. I guess it’s still a good reward. The rest of the money will just go to donations. Fast Forward, we’re in the final game of the tournaments and it’s the Seattle Bears roster players of Goalie @DMaximus, dman @Rhynex Entertainment and two forwards DIGGLER and @Webberj. The score was tied 66 after the first two periods of play. We were down to the final mineral play in the Seattle Bears were pressing into the other teams zone. The puck came to Dirks Diggler and he fumbled the ball. It hit his stick, rolled over. He gained control but managed to lose it again. The other team came crashing in 3-1 on WALLOB and got a nice NHL 23 glitch goal woooo. You could see it in his eyes that he knew he messed up. He had already been having a very slow season with the Seattle Bears, only managing to go to score 6 points in 52 games so far this season. Fans have been fairly rough on them so far this season on social media and after this three on three tournament play, it’s think it’s pretty safe to say that the heat is going to be turned up again… just in time for trade deadline season.. “Dirks Diggler FISTED ANALLY BY A CIRCUS MONKEY the Bears chances of winning the tournament. They lost 7-6. Way to go DIGGY!!!” Said one angry fan from California. “ I knew Diggler was working for Biden and Putin” said a convinced fan in Texas. It was even so good that Elon Musk jumped in on the fun. The tweet or whatever the hell it is called now managed to gather 627,000 retweets by the morning. It was also re-tweeted by former President Barack Obama. “Diggler Sucks. Doge. X.” - Elon Musk. We know that the life of a professional hockey player isn’t easy and the Diggler season is a little tougher than what he has been used to. The three on three tournament was supposed to be for fun, but the fans really came out with their vampire fangs then they? It’s safe to say there was a lot of snubbing happen this day mhmm

I was looking at the rule but didn't want to post it. There will always be tanking and that's okay imo but when it's super blatant, not the biggest fan... dunno if that's the case but dunno what else it would be As long as it's not wild and teams are going 2-69-0. Sickening! lol I think the rule is pretty important. Maybe add to the rule: No CPU goalie shall start over 10 games PER team unless no other goalie is available to that team? The extra 2 games may be slightly abused but it would suck to set it at 8 and then forget honestly and be punished. I know I've made a mistake maybe in the past where the BUG was on Day 10 despite me doing "copy all days". BUG actually was the new goalie on "day one". Didn't know that at the time but also never done it again.
