  1. I think there should, instead of force retiring after 8 seasons, we should just have incredibly steep TPE fall-off. And I'm also in favor of steeper TPE brackets to make it much harder to get to 99 in any stat (I had 99 Skating before stepping on VHL ice). I just wish the weeks went faster, regardless of games simmed. However, if we were to sim more games per day, I would definitely want a complete Doubles Week to counter the lost week of TPE.

  2. Vancouver has been struggling. A team with some good young talent now finds itself (at the time of writing) just 7 points off of last place in the league, with an extra game played. The Wolves are tied for having the fewest rostered defensemen in the league, with only 4. With 5 of the top 10 prospects being defensemen, General Manager Beaviss and co. look primed to take one in the first round, assuming they hold onto their first-round pick. In fact, with their own first- and second-round picks as well as Moscow’s second-round pick, it would not be surprising to see the Wolves either trade up for a 2nd first-rounder or use all three of the aforementioned picks to climb higher on the draft board. Considering the Malmo Nighthawks - currently 2nd-to-last in the league - have only their own first-rounder and Seattle’s fourth for the entire S68 draft, and those Seattle Bears - 3rd-to-last in the league - have only their own first-rounder in the first 3 rounds of the draft, it would make plenty of sense for either of those two teams to pick up more draft capital while Vancouver uses their assets to snag one of the best prospects in the draft at a position where they have little depth.

  3. ATTENTION ALL:

We here in Vancouver are seriously worried about the health and well-being of our General Manager Keaton Louth, otherwise known as Beaviss. Word on the street is that he is out camping, and has been from Friday and will be until Tuesday, but that doesn’t make for an interesting story, now, does it?

With an interesting choice, General Manager Beaviss left the lines and tactics to Denver Wolfe, an aptly-named defenseman on the Wolves, and not to his Assistant General Manager, Jagger Philliefan. Though an odd decision, the Vancouver locker room is so strong in team morale that they soldier on as a group, nay, as a team. However, rumors are circulating that such comments as “fuck beaviss tbh” and “tell beavis hes slacking” have been uttered in GM Louth’s absence.

Back to the main story… Beaviss has left to the wilderness with no contact to the outside world, worrying his team as to his safety and concerning some as to his communication skills. When reached for a comment, his AGM, who asked to remain anonymous and whose wish was not granted, said that Beaviss is the best GM in the VHL and that “Vancouver would be worse off with any other GM in the wold… except for @BladeMaiden. She’s a beast. And that Jagger Philliefan guy could probably step in decently. He would probably offer Denver Wolfe his AGM spot, right? I mean, just spitballing here.” Kind of awkward since we know Jagger was the one who gave us the quote...
