Kyl Oferson Junior Review Kyl Oferson is no stranger to hockey, he is the son of @Kylrad and @O4L, however, he was never told how it worked. He played hockey with his good friend Keven Foreskin @Esso2264 on whatever ice they could find in Brunei. It was quite the challenge, but Oferson and his friend were able to occasionally practice, and we're still quite good without the consistency. Who knows what could've become of them had they grown up in a hockey loving nation like Canada, Sweden, or Russia, but they made do. In Brunei they trained their hockey skills, and became good enough to get scouted. Teams started noticing Foreskin and Oferson though as they got older, and the biggest interest came from VHLM teams. Up until that point the 2 players had never played for a real team, outside of a few bad scrimmages with other Bruneian friends, so when the interest came in for Foreskin they 2 kids were shocked. Keven, being the elder, ended up going to the Minnesota Storm of the VHLM, and when Kyl Oferson got word of how good it was he decided he wanted to go the the VHLM as well. After getting permission from league officials to sign with a team, many teams showed interest, but he ended up going to the Mississauga Hounds, but it was the wrong team shockingly. He meant to go to Minnesota like Keven, but got confused because Bruneian North American geography isn't the best. However, he is enjoying Missisauga. The people and GM are nice, and the team synergises well as well, not to mention they are second in the league. Oferson was held pointless in his first game vs. the Marlins, that saw the Hounds win 3-2 in the shootout, but after adjusting to pro play Oferson found his game against Vegas, where he notched 2 goals, both coming on the powerplay assisted by Jimothy Frost, and Reegsman on goal 1 and Dick Cheezy on goal #2. Currently the WJC is going on, and Oferson would've loved to represent Team World, but the paperwork wasn't sent to the WJC Commishioners quick enough. Unfortunate, as it would've been a good experience for the newcomer to play against stiffer competition, but he'll just have to train and improve for next season. Many fans in Mississauga didn't know who the rookie was, cheering for more hyped names like Ola Vikingstad and Roque Davis, but after watching Oferson light it up the expectations for him are growing. Will Kyl Oferson live up to the hype? Or will he follow a similar path as other hyped prospect Elias Dahlberg?

After getting all the paperwork done for the VHLM, Kyl Oferson was officially eligible to sign with any VHLM team he wanted to at 12pm EST, and out of 12 teams he unfortunately seems to have chosen the wrong one. The rookie was seen as accepting an entirely unconvincing pitch by lazy general manager @GustavMattias that consisted of one word, initially sent to the wrong email address. The single word was "join". After receiving many other pitches, Oferson believed he was responding to a pitch from a team in Mexico, but it ended up being sent to Gustav, who wasn't even doing his job at the time. League officials decided it was a valid acceptance, and Oferson was stuck with the team. When asked about it he said "Yeah dude I made a mistake. Like where even is mississauga, sounds like a ripoff mississippi. I can't even spell mississauga it's too weird. Like who thought it was a good idea to put that many s' in a name. Plus when I met the GM he wasn't even GMing, he was just staring at like one of those FBI boards that they use to track down crimes and suspects, but instead it was just filled with nonsense about a cult in Halifax. I can't wait for the draft when I can finally get off of this team.

So, as some may know, mainly just Riga and Esso I am retiring my first player, Elias Dahlberg. I think this is my 6th season currently, so it is a little early, I just don't have the TPE to fight regression, and I'm also ready to restart with a new player, I'll admit that I've gotten bored of Dahlberg. I guess partially that comes from being mediocre the past 5 seasons, except that one good season on Davos, which I'm kinda mad about cause we had a good thing in Davos but Shawn just didn't listen... The past 2 seasons once I got my final build I slacked with the TPE earning, and I just claimed 6 or so each week, didn't really claim practice facility until it came to the portal. I'll admit that I'm only writing this article to get an extra carryover TPE, since I would've been at like 49.86 or something. Now that I think of it maybe that would've rounded up and this whole article is useless, eh who cares. I'd like to thank @diamond_ace for being a great GM in Ottawa and keeping me interested in the league, my time on Ottawa was probably some of the best in the league. @Esso2264 for being my buddy early in the league, @hedgehog337 for trading for me and having a great team in Riga, glad I came there. @Motzaburger for being a great agm, and my teammates on both riga and davos during my time there.
