@FacebookFighter and @GustavMattias i have been encouraged to not @members for hiring posts that being said i did announce the jobs being up twice in the discord. I hope that clarifies how I tried to get the word out about the jobs and I will make an effort to get the word out even more in the future, thank you for the suggestions

@BigChrispy Philadelphia is in the middle of our tank season but if you want lots of minutes, a fun locker room (that has great mix of old and new members) and I would be more than happy to help with your build if you want it. The site defines an inactive as over a month, but we'll see how many players you will be trying to replace.

You will be allowed to replace inactives with active players, you must use all active available team Asia players, just clarifying before someone gets upset. Looking forward to seeing Asia Compete this season

Hey Everyone!! It is that time of of the season again! Time to take out all your countries gear and get ready to cheer for your team as the gun for the GOLD. This year to spice things up we are going with a theme of Beat the Pros. @Bushito and @ShawnGlade will be our resident VHL GM Pros who will be looking to shut down their competition! We offer a warm welcome to: @uphillmoss (who took the form of a saber tooth tiger and took the VHLM by storm), @GustavMattias (a Fiery guy with a Huston Bulls affiliation. He also came highly recommended by His GM @Sonnet. He will be taking on His GM's player's WJC team of Asia and I can Imagine that Pepper will be tuning in to see how Asia does.) and last but not least we have @TsarPeter (who seems determined to take this tournament by storm. It is Rumored that He took this job with hopes of running an expansion team one day). So lets Get the ball rolling with some predictions who do you think will take it all this year? Will it be a Pro or one of our Hungry new GMs?

As I was also brutally attacked in that conversation by the member you are painting here to be defenseless. We all make jokes all the time about doing sneaky shit as GMs the Craftiness and Deviousness comes with the job Nyko. The part about banning you from discord I know nothing about. Nothing gets solved if we all keep shoving things in each others faces and bringing up ugly moments. I would ask you if you are that upset about who we hired but it is obvious you are.

He applied for the WC and was denied because Jubo was taking up those slots too with his win streak. I do take the other world tournament into consideration when making decisions. My basic answer to your question was in my original hiring post, it just wasn't in depth. You are an indignant smart ass Nyko, this never had to be a big deal you could have DM'd me your questions but you had to make a big deal about it. Again there were lots of great candidates I truly didn't feel like anyone is a wrong choice and maybe that is why I am a little upset. Why is it anyone's place to say that a good member of this site dosen't deserve their turn to WJC GM, that is a continuing belief I have. I am sure in the seasons to come I will see you as a GM wish we had more teams tbh maybe it is time we had a look at our format.

I clearly stated in my Hiring post that we went the rout of Hiring VHL GMs for the newer ppl to try their skills against. Jubos Win streak was interrupted in the WC this season and that is why he is not returning. It was a decision that was logically made by the committee no singular person. Then the Idea to hire 2 pros came up I thought that Shawn and Bush were great options. Although obviously Peace and Jubo cause have been good options. I offered Peace worlds as if I had went Jubo and Peace as VHLM GM Pros someone would need to take World, and Jubo in that scenario would have been allowed to keep trying for WJC Gold. I mean we also could have scrapped the idea entirely, and just tried to not put forth a challenge and hired 5 new guys but that is not the direction we went in.

I did communicate with you I clearly told you that i was not the only person who selected the GMs. I also told you where you could launch a formal complaint. Communication at it's finest. I love when ppl use my own lines that they criticized against me. Maybe the reason I am so disappointed because I know I taught you better/ saw more potential then the level of negligence that that job is seeing and it is even worse because there are 2 ppl doing it. If I do have complaints will bring them up with Quik I have been asking myself "why" for a while lol

Hi Everyone, The WJC Commissioners team ( @Banackock, @FrostBeard and myself) are starting the General Managers hiring process for the upcoming World Junior Championship. We are looking for 5 dedicated members of our community to manage each of one of our five WJC teams. It's a good position to learn what being a GM is all about (mostly) in this league and what better way than chasing after sweet, sweet gold. As a GM, you'll be tasked with: - Selecting a roster of players to represent your country - Helping to generate discussion with your selected team-mates in both your respective team forum and in game threads. - Submitting lines for each game (If you have no prior experience of this, then a teammate or the WJC Commissioners will be more than happy to assist). Team List: Team Canada Team USA Team Europe (All Europe, excluding Russia) Team Asia (All Asia, including Russia) Team World (All other countries and players not selected for the above four teams) Things To Consider: - A 2 capped TPE pay will be awarded to General Managers, providing an extra incentive for those thinking about applying for the role. - Primarily, we will be looking to have teams represented by General Managers that own players of the same nationality. - If you're someone with no previous management experience in the VHL, then a role as WJC General Manager is a great way to introduce you to the basic concepts of managing a team.
