Question Time! Answer all 6 for 2 TPE! 1. After a week of some more tough losses mixed in with some wins, how do you try to turn it into a positive and try to bust through to win those close games? We just have to work together to get into a rhythm and start winning some games. I know we are a different team that won last season but we have some good guys here and it’s time to show the league what we are. 2. How do you think your on-ice performance has been? How do you plan to better yourself as a player? I think I started off very well but have since struggled. I’ve maxed my TPE so just hope my player just does well the rest of this season as he prepares to make the jump to the pros. 3. Are you excited for the World Juniors? Do you think you'll make your country's roster? Yea I think I have a good chance to make it again. 4. Other than your own team in the WJC, who do you like to root for to do well? I like going for whoever is the underdog. 5. Spill some tea! What team, VHL, VHLM, or World Championships do you not like the most? It can be a rival or anyone, who do you have that irrational hate for? I don’t think I have a team or someone I dislike that much. If I had to pick I’d pick Halifax because we fought to the end last year and now this year they are on top. 6. Finally, what are some of your favorite game-day routines and rituals that you have fun with? Morning skate, good pregame meal and some rock music in the dressing room before the game.

1. The Aces have dropped below Halifax in the standings. Has this gotten the team fired up to start performing better? How have you seen this on the ice? Yea it’s time for the team to step up and get back to the top. Let’s all get all the TPE we can and win this thing again. 2. Some new guys have signed with the team recently, how have you worked the new guys into the chemistry and atmosphere of the team? I think things are starting to get better. Still a long season and many games to go and get to the top again. 3. Since I asked you guys some questions last week, you've gone 6-6-0 in your last 12. How do you impact this performance and try to better the team to try and go above .500? just continue to strive to be better everyday. 4. Was the early season streak out-of-character or do you think you could get back into the winning swing of things soon? I think we can all get back to the top again. Last year and the start of this year was not a fluke. 5. Have there been any huge surprises with how the season is going overall? Have there been any surprising results from any teams on the standings? I think some surprises from the new teams as well as Vegas itself. We can be better. 6. Finally, what are some of your favorite things to do around town when you're not at the rink? try out local restaurants and micro breweries.

1. Games start soon! What are you most excited for? To improve my player So for next season he will fit in better and to defend the championship. 2. Who are you rooting for in the VHL? Moscow. 3. How has the offseason treated you? Are you settling in well? Offseason was good. Was happy to be drafted as the first player to a new team. 4. How is the team getting along in the early practices? Is there early chemistry? Preseason was good and we have had a great start to the season.  5. What's your go-to diet on gameday? Pasta and meatballs. 6. With the VHL draft happening last week, are you excited to move up in the next coming seasons? Where do you see yourself in 2 seasons from now? I see myself in the top 4 D of Moscow next season. Excited to improve this season and be an impact player next season.

1. What do you look forward to in this upcoming VHLM season? Look forward to being one of the top defencemen in the league and to repeat as champions! 2. Do you think the Aces have a shot at defending the cup? Why/Why not? Yes. Have some good returning talent and also have a good crop of new guys that will improve throughout the year to lead us to the championship.  3. How do you think your player will play this season? What do you hope to accomplish in the minors? I think my player will improve upon his rookie season. He will fight for top defencemen in the league and will become more of an offensive threat.  4. Who do you think drafted the best, and why? I think Vegas because our GM looked at who was available in an attempt to try and repeat as champions. 5. What new expansion or relocated team are you most excited to face this year? Philadelphia, Houston, or Minnesota? and why? I’m excited to face Houston. I think the guy running it will do well and their team ha a lot of potential. Should be fun. 6. What are your first thoughts on being in Vegas? Do you like it here? Share some of your excitement! I do like it. Our team has done nothing but succeed and our team is also very active. Our domination in the second half of the season and the playoffs was quite exciting.

1) The finals are on, Vegas vs Halifax. Who's your pick and why? Vegas because my player is on the team and we are a very strong team. 2) The VHL and VHLM draft are coming up this offseason. If you're getting drafted to the VHL this year, where do you hope you go? If you've already been drafted, what are you most looking forward to in the VHL? I don’t really have a specific team I’d like to be drafted to. If I had to pick one, I’d choose Toronto as a Toronto fan. 3) With the offseason upon us, what's your player's favorite postseason activity? Golf. 4) Looking back at this last season, what's one thing you're going to miss about the VHLM once you've moved up? The completion among teams and players. Following the draft rankings and seeing how other players are progressing through the season. 5) Coaches always push for their players to "leave it all out on the ice." Do you feel like your player followed that mantra this season, or is there more to them that we have yet to see? I do feel my player exceeded all expectations. I think he also showed his true value in the semis. Whoever drafts him won’t be disappointed. 6) Excluding the drafts and offseason tournament, what would you like to see the VHL host in the offseason in order to make it a little more fun? A Golf tournament. Would like to see what a golf sim does based on player TPE.

1) Finally, playoff time is here! Make your claim right here, who's going to take it all? Las Vegas Aces for sure. 2) If you made it to the playoffs, what are you going to need to do in order to take home the cup? If you missed the playoffs, what are you going to do to come back stronger for next time? Continue our powerful offence and strong defence. That’s what’s got us here so we have to continue our game. 3) If you could, would you stay another year in the VHLM? Why or why not? Yes. I want to improve my player more. I’d like to be the top d-man next season and prepare my player to make a smooth transition to the big leagues. 4) The playoffs are where stars are born. Which player do you think will rise up to the task and pave the way for their team? To pick someone on a different team, I’d pick Diljodh. He led the league in goals and is a huge threat offensively. If we shut him down then I think we can win the championship for sure. 5) Are you or your team following any playoff superstitions this season? Not personally. 6) The Achievement Tracker notice went live not too long ago, and claims will be open until the playoffs end. Are you happy with how much TPE your player will be awarded? I haven’t read it but will be looking at it to see how I can improve my player. Extra TPE is always a good thing!
