  1. The Daniel Weaver prospect scouting report... Daniel Weaver victory minor league hockey is still very short and has plenty of more games until he will eventually get drafted in the victory hockey league, but he has played around 30 games so far (including the playoff) between the Houston Bulls managed by ajwllmsn and the Miami Marauders managed by Ledge. One thing that Daniel Weaver has shown so far is his scoring abilities, he has more goals then assists in his career so far and he's looking to become a full goal scorer in the victory hockey league and hopefully a team in the upcoming season 85 draft will notice it. I will now be discussing the cons of Daniel Weaver so far... His first con is his playmaking ability. There is no doubt that he has a talent for scoring, but he is having trouble to set up his teammate when they are in the offensive zone. He can make break out pass in the middle of the ice, but once we need to set up in the offensive zone, he has trouble founding the right pass to give to his teammates thus just shooting it on the net and hoping it will go in. It's something that he will work on with his teammates during the rest of the season by building up chemistry. His second con would be his speed, he his a very slow player so far. He does not depend on his speed to get around people and found more scoring opportunities, but it is something that he will need to improve on if he wants to mak a bigger impact in the victory hockey league. His third and last con is his physical plays. He is willing to lay the body on defence, but he doesn't want to play gritty in the corners and would try to force a strip on his opponents instead. It's not a urgent matter since he's playing with other teenagers, but later in his career against adults. He would need to bulk up. Now for his pros... Obviosuly one of his pros would be his offensive capabilities and scoring. He is a scorer and his shots are lethal and it doesn't matter that it's off the rush, one timer, breakaways, etc. He will put the puck into the net. His second pro would be his defence. He is an underrated defender, he will lay on the ground to block shots and doesn't let his opponents beat him to the puck. His +/- can somewhat show that he doesn't get scored on a lot. His last pros would be his discipline, he's a very disciplined and humble player.

  6. Why should Daniel Weaver be drafted to the Seattle Bears... The first reason is that... The Seattle Bears have an incredible roster in the majors, but they are getting quite old. Especially on the forward side of things, their "youngest" player in that group will be regressing in the next 3 years until retirement. Drafting a talent like Daniel Weaver will help them plug in and out the people that will be retiring in a season or two. My second reason is that... The Seattle Bears prospect pool is looking a bit weak and they don't have a lot of picks in the next 3 seasons. Actually 0 in season 87! Their hopes of getting him in season 85 look quite weak already with only a 4th rounder for the upcoming draft. Will Weaver slip until the 4th round? Hopefully kek. They do have a decent prospect with Velociraptor Grer on defense and will become a top 4 option for Seattle next season, but their best forward prospect is Chip Stone who is struggling since the start of his career in the VHLM and the VHLE currently. He has some offensive upside, but his defense is a tremendous concern for them. Daniel Weaver is arguably better or will be better than him in the off-season while being one draft class newer than him. My third and last reason... Daniel Weaver is a winner and the Seattle Bear is the epitome of a winning culture. They know how to bring the best out of their players each season and it's something Weaver will be looking forward to. In conclusion, Daniel Weaver will play for the Seattle Bears one way or another...

  14. Daniel Weaver has received a letter from the commissioner of the Victory Pro League in Europe, which is a step below the Victory Hockey League. The Victory Pro League in Europe are where the best future superstars compete with other VHL veterans and it lets them polish their game before going to the next level and immediately make an impact on a team. The letter was about skipping his victory minor league season which they believe would be too easy for him. He's essentially been given a special exception status to play like a pro even as a teenager. Two other of his peers received the same letters, but he was the only one that refused to take that next step. The reason? He doesn't think he would be given the tools and needs to become successful at it and he has bad memories of just being a simple role player on a team. The victory minor league draft came by and he was drafted 6th overall in H-Town, the Houston Bulls. I've heard the food is great over there and he's happy to compete in the upcoming victory minor league season while working towards the VHL draft so he can be drafted to the Seattle Bears, where his uncle Aleksander Rodriguez once won a championship for them. Daniel Weaver will most likely be the face of the franchise this season and he will be given a lot of responsibilities which he loves doing throughout his career so far. Start the season already!
