1. After a week of some more tough losses mixed in with some wins, how do you try to turn it into a positive and try to bust through to win those close games? Its always the losses that help us bounce back to get those big wins. They always make the next game a little bit more fun. 2. How do you think your on-ice performance has been? How do you plan to better yourself as a player? I think my performance has really helped my team. On the ice my point total keeps rising. 3. Are you excited for the World Juniors? Do you think you'll make your country's roster? I am more than excited for the World Juniors i beleive ill make the team id be upset if i didnt 4. Other than your own team in the WJC, who do you like to root for to do well? Im routing for our neighbor to the north Canada and hope to see them far in the tournament 5. Spill some tea! What team, VHL, VHLM, or World Championships do you not like the most? It can be a rival or anyone, who do you have that irrational hate for? I dislike that guy Cody Parkey coming into the league very cocky thinking he is better than anyone but i was so happy to play against him and talk some trash 6. Finally, what are some of your favorite game-day routines and rituals that you have fun with? I love our team meals before the game and the night before the game

1. We are at about the third season mark. What teams are most likely going to face off in the next Founder's Cup final? I think the teams who are most likely going to face off in the final is the Las Vegas Aces and Halifax 2. What is one trade you'd like your trade to do at this moment? I think we should trade for a foward to generate offense 3. The 3rd World Junior Championship Commissioner was just hired (congrats Frostbeard), meaning the S65 WJC is about to start. Do you think you have what it takes to represent your nation? Yes i do beleive as an upcoming player and with my devolpment rate id be more than ready enough to represent my nation 4. Who are your early favourites to win some awards in the VHLM? MVP, best two-way forward, best defenseman, best goalie? I havent been paying attentio to many other teams but mine and everyone on my team is more than capable for these awards 5. What's one song that you listen to before stepping on the ice, that will inevitably pump you up and get you ready for action? I listen to any song that has a solid meaning behind it or anything that helps me remember why im playing the game, its because i love it 6. Describe your VHLM team's General Manager and/or Assistant to the General Manager in 3 words. Amazing Welcoming Effecient

1. The Aces have dropped below Halifax in the standings. Has this gotten the team fired up to start performing better? How have you seen this on the ice? Our team has been fighting our hardest all season but losing our first place spot has driven us to win more and more. On the ice, our chemistry keeps getting stronger and stronger and Halifax is just giving us a reason to play better. 2. Some new guys have signed with the team recently, how have you worked the new guys into the chemistry and atmosphere of the team? Everyone on the team is treated with respect and is part of the brotherhood we like to call the Las Vegas Aces, helping other teammates is a huge way to build chemistry 3. Since I asked you guys some questions last week, you've gone 6-6-0 in your last 12. How do you impact this performance and try to better the team to try and go above .500? We continue to work hard on and off the ice to become the best team we possibly can everyone is expecting another run for the cup from us and I think it can happen 4. Was the early season streak out-of-character or do you think you could get back into the winning swing of things soon? If we continue to play our A-game like we did in the beginning of the season i believe we could start a streak again and go very far in the playoffs. 5. Have there been any huge surprises with how the season is going overall? Have there been any surprising results from any teams on the standings? Nothing huge really we just are getting into this losing slump and we need to fight our way out of it 6. Finally, what are some of your favorite things to do around town when you're not at the rink? I always love hitting downtown on my free time and team dinners are great and we build our chemistry on and off the ice

Duncan Jeffers Rookie Profile Height: 6’6” Handiness: Left Weight: 245 lbs Jersey Number: #13 Hometown: Buffalo, NY Born: January 13, 2002 Strengths Jeffers is an all-around team player. He likes to be physical from the moment he steps off the bench to the moment he steps right back on. He is the least selfish player imaginable, debuting in the VHLM with 7 points, and 7 assists. This man on the ice likes to take control and run the team himself. His defense is outstanding and knows how to get in front of a shot. His passing is a great asset to the team and his game. In college, he had the most assists by one player on the team. Jeffers’ vision of the ice is almost as bright as day, his awareness of what's around him at all times is fantastic Weaknesses Jeffers weaknesses vary all over the ice. If a player on the opposing team gets in his mind Duncan will take it personally hard on himself and not perform to his maximum the rest of the game. Just like any other sports players he has a few bad games in his career since childhood and during those game has really looked back on what he could’ve done better, but he uses those mistakes and is continuing to perfect his game from it. Career Goals/Predictions Duncan Jeffers has been waiting all his life to make his run in the VHL and is so close now being picked up by the Las Vegas Aces in the VHLM. Within a few seasons, he will make that leap and start playing for a great team in the VHL. Jeffers stated that by the end of his rookie season he would like to have 25 points, already coming into the league with 7 this might be a valid goal to be able to reach. By retirement, Duncan would love to have a solid 250 points if not more. He is still waiting for that game to score his first goal and it definitely will be a special one when that happens. Duncan is a growing player and continues to get better each and every day. He would love to move up on the depth chart as fast as possible and soon be playing with the first line. He really thinks by the end of this season he will be able to show off his skill and make an impact on the VHLM. Team Player Jeffers has so far shown to be a team player with 7 assists. He has bonded well with his teammates on and off the ice and realizes this isn't just a team its a brotherhood. Getting guidance from former linemates and GM has been a great start to the VHLM. Getting to know everyone really has been a blast. The chemistry of the Las Vegas Aces is amazing, everyone is always talking to each other and is not leaving anyone out. Conclusion All in all Duncan Jeffers is an outstanding fast developing defenseman in the VHLM. He can’t wait to show everyone what he can do this season and can’t wait for even more seasons to come. He really hopes to make it big in the VHL someday and hopes that day is very soon.
